With the continued heat discussion of the issues about the Modern Chinese Literature History stage,the status of the fiction "A Madman’s Diary" has been challenged as a pioneer of modern Chinese literature,founder of novels in the vernacular Chinese in modern China.On the other hand,by the impact of the long-time political reasons in modern Chinese literature,there are many problems in traditional judgment of "A Madman’s Diary".So we are looking forward to exploring a proper angle to re-recognize the meaning and value of "A Madman’s Diary"in the modern literary history.Since 1918,from its born to today for nearly a century,the "A Madman’s Diary",whether by accident or in a particular situation,has been always taken into literary by the literature recipient which including writers,scholars and average person in different periods time and time.This is a important phenomenon with worthy attention.From this paper,we are going to find a new understanding to re-recognize the "A Madman’s Diary" we want to return to historical sites from the early 20th century,with the intersection of synchronic and diachronic,find its true value which may have been misunderstood:finding the huge history meaning in all important historical turning point,which has been accepted by people with no discriminating;finding the inspiration which has been neglected and oppressed;finding what has been missed by history,how roundabout and eventually been re-promoted to its once criticized and advocated.These are the dynamic,development,and even eternal value in "A Madman’s Diary”.In the first chapter,we are going to comb the acceptance history,paying special attention to the three stages of development:initial response in the beginning,the distorting in politicized era and the change since the 1980s.We are intended to break those seemingly "truth "and" general consensus ",restoring the "true acceptance" of"A Madman’s Diary”.In the second chapter,from the core qualitative of "anti-feudal" which has been long formed,by discriminating the unique accepted phenomenon of thinking of"anti-feudal" in 30s and 80s,we can re-know the value which has been misunderstood around the keywords "anti-feudal".In the third chapter,from the key factor:realism creative methods and the thinking of "person",by discriminating the unique accepted phenomenon in 20s and 80s,we can re-know the value which has been missed in "A Madman’s Diary".
