Objective: To understand the distribution and characteristics of TCM syndromes in patients with endometriosis(EM)through a questionnaire survey,so as to provide theoretical basis for TCM syndrome differentiation and treatment of endometriosis and further optimize the clinical diagnosis and treatment program. Methods: By using the information collection form of endometriosis(TCM syndromes)and clinical epidemiological research method,we investigated the endometriosis patients who met the inclusion criteria in gynecological outpatient clinic, endometriosis specialty and gynecological inpatient of Yueyang Integrated Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The obtained signs, clinical symptoms and four diagnoses of TCM were made.Information, through frequency analysis, cluster analysis,non-parametric test for statistical analysis,to explore the distribution and characteristics of endometriosis syndrome in traditional Chinese medicine.Result:1.The most common single syndrome of endometriosis is Qi stagnation syndrome(blood stasis syndrome is not included in statistics).Documentary syndromes consist of19 complex syndromes, the most common of which is Qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome. After clustering, five common clinical syndromes were obtained: qi stagnation and blood stasis,qi stagnation and kidney deficiency and blood stasis, kidney deficiency and blood stasis, cold coagulation and blood stasis,damp-heat and blood stasis.2.There was significant difference in age between cold coagulation and blood stasis syndrome of endometriosis and kidney deficiency and blood stasis syndrome(P < 0.05),but there was no significant difference in age between other syndromes(P > 0.05).There was significant difference in age between the syndrome of excess and deficiency(P < 0.05).3.There was no significant difference in the distribution of endometriosis syndrome in the degree of dysmenorrhea(P > 0.05).Further analysis showed that there was no significant difference in the degree of dysmenorrhea between the syndrome of excess and deficiency(P > 0.05),but there was no significant difference in the degree of dysmenorrhea between the syndrome of cold and heat(P > 0.05).4.The distribution of endometriosis syndrome in the course of disease had statistical significance(P < 0.05),but there was no statistical significance between groups(P >0.05).Further analysis showed that there was no statistical significance in the course of disease between syndrome of deficiency and excess(P > 0.05),and there was no statistical significance in the course of disease between syndrome of cold and syndrome of heat(P > 0.05).5.Through frequency analysis and cluster analysis, the main syndrome differentiation symptoms of five common clinical syndromes were obtained.Conclusion:1.This study found that the most common single syndrome of endometriosis is Qi stagnation syndrome(blood stasis syndrome is not included in statistics),and the most common complex syndrome is Qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome. The five common clinical syndromes are qi stagnation and blood stasis,qi stagnation and kidney deficiency and blood stasis, kidney deficiency and blood stasis, cold coagulation and blood stasis,damp-heat and blood stasis.2.The majority of the patients with endometriosis are from 29 to 35 years old,and the majority of the patients with deficiency-excess syndrome are from 36 to 42 years old. This shows that with the increase of age,the syndrome distribution of endometriosis changes from excess to deficiency-excess syndrome. |
