| Objective:Allergic rhinitis is one of the most common respiratory diseases in children with nasal diseases.In the south of our country,the incidence of allergic rhinitis in children is 6.8-33.3%.With the aggravation of air pollution,acceleration of urban construction and other factors,the incidence of allergic rhinitis in children is increasing year by year,has become a diseases seriously affect the healthy growth of children.Treatment is not timely may produce a variety of serious complications such as pneumonia and asthma.Studies have shown that children with allergic rhinitis experience a rapid decline in school performance,those psychological life and mental health will be affected,and even have the possibility of depression,increase the economic burden on individuals and even the whole society.The common clinical symptoms of allergic rhinitis include runny watery nose,itchy nose,stuffy nose and sneezing,but there are fewer guidelines specifically for children with it,the description also not significantly different from that in adults.Forever,adults can describe symptoms completely,but due to physical reasons,the symptoms of children cannot be described,there are unable in expression ability,as well as the fear of the hospital and other reasons,make them unable to complete,or even dare not tell their symptoms.Therefore,the appearance of children with allergic rhinitis becomes the determining factor to diagnose whether they are in allergic phase.How to start anti-allergy treatment for children when they have some special symptoms,has become a great significance to improve their quality of life and reduce unnecessary medical expensesAllergic rhinitis is belong to the category of "biqiu" in TCM,Moreover,TCM has significant advantages in the prevention and treatment of it.Sun's sequential therapy(SST)is a combination of oral and external use of TCM for nasal diseases created by Professor Sun Shuchen,In the treatment method,steam fumigation,distillation of distillate,nasal administration and internal decoction were carried out step by step.It is mainly suitable for children with allergic rhinitis.This study explored the clinical of those children,and provides the data and ideas for TCM treatment of allergic rhinitis children.Methods:To study the symptoms of children with allergic rhinitis in Guang Anmen Hospital.List more than 90 symptoms that the child may suffer during the allergy period,and ask the parents to rate the symptoms according to the onset of the child.In addition,the non-seasonal allergic rhinitis with deficiency of lungqi and spleen temperament and the children who received SST treatment for 14±1 days and whose visit time was not in the pollen period were selected for the focus analysis.The questionnaire was filled out every 2 weeks to observe the sequence of the decrease of scores of different symptoms,and the clinical efficacy of SST external treatment for allergic rhinitis in children was studiedResult:1.In this study,a total of 117 children with allergic rhinitis were included,among which 78(67.5%)cases were characterized by deficiency of lung and spleen,28(24%)cases were characterized by Wind heat syndrome of lung,10(8.5%)cases were characterized by Deficiency of kidney Yang(P<0.05).2.The top 15 most common symptoms and behaviors of preschool children with AR are as follows 60 cases of sleep respiratory sound,Nasal congestion of 57 cases,Snoring 57 cases,Nose of 57 cases,open mouth breathing at night in 56 cases,54 cases of runchil,spontaneous sweating 54 cases,night sweats 54 cases,eye rubbing 50 cases,rhinocnesmus 50 cases,white dry scab in nasal cavity 43 cases,halitosis 43 cases,inappetence 41 cases,rub nose 40 cases,shrug nose 39 cases,The 15 most common symptoms and behaviors of children with school-age AR were listed as follows:runchil 43 cases,Nasal congestion 43 cases,sneeze 40 cases,pick nose 39 cases,sleep respiratory sound 38 cases,eye rubbing 38 cases,night sweats 37 cases,spontaneous sweating 34 cases,Flow yellow stuff 33 cases,white dry scab in nasal cavity 33 cases,Rinse the throat 33 cases,rhinocnesmus 32 cases,yellow dry scab in nasal cavity 31 cases,rub nose 30 cases,caugh 30 cases,Open mouth breathing at night 29 cases;3.In the comparison of nasal symptoms and signs,there was a statistical difference between the two groups in the symptoms of sneezing and nosebleeds.In terms of night breathing state,there were statistical differences between the two groups of AR children in terms of sleep apnoea and night open-mouth breathing.In the comparison of ocular symptoms,there was a statistical difference between the two groups in the first symptom of staring.In Chinese medicine and syndrome,there was a statistical difference between the two groups of children in the symptoms of eating acanthosis(P<0.05).4.Among the 43 children with lung-spleen deficiency syndrome who were not in the pollen stage during the non-seasonal visit,1 case showed obvious effect,33 cases were effective,and 9 cases were ineffective after 14 days of external treatment with SST,The effective rate was 79.0%in 14 days of treatment.Among the 43 cases,a total of 28 cases were included who continued treatment for 14 days,among which 1 case was cured,7 cases were demonstrated,and 3 cases were effective,The effective rate was 89.2%in 28 days of treatment.5.SST external treatment has statistically significant improvement on the symptoms of sneezing,nasal congestion,nasal itching,snoring,open mouth breathing at night,itchy eyes,Rinse the throat,cough,spontaneous sweating,night sweats in AR child patients(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.AR in adults and pediatric AR exist differences in four typical symptoms most adult patients with AR flow cleaning stuff appear in both symptoms sneezing nose itch and congestion,and AR children with nasal congestion sleep breath sounds crude flow cleaning stuff and pick my nose most see more,and children with AR on sneezing nose itch or flow the stuff three symptoms were significantly lower than on the occurrence frequency of adult patients with AR.2.There are also differences in symptoms and behavior among children with AR in different age groups.Preschool children with AR have a higher frequency of snoring,sleep,breathing,rough staring,eating disorders than children with school-age AR,and a higher frequency of sneezing,nosebleeds in children with school-age AR3.SST External treatment can improve the nasal symptoms such as runny nose,sneezing,nasal itching,nasal obstruction,yellow nose and epistaxis,sleep breathing sounds,snoring and other breathing conditions at night,eye symptoms such as itchy eyes,and throat symptoms such 89.2%in 28 days of treatment.Above research shows that:the adult AR AR to children,and the AR children of different ages,due to age expression ability etc,the symptom expression for the reaction of in the treatment of children's AR As the external treatment method of SST applies dialectical post-medication to each child,it reflects the principle of traditional Chinese medicine for the use of children.At the same time,there is no need for children to take traditional Chinese medicine orally,so as to improve their acceptance and compliance. |
