Clinical Observation Of Dahuang Mudanfang Ointment Applied To Shenque Acupoint As Auxiliary Treatment Of Acute Appendicitis

Acute appendicitis is one of the most common diseases in surgery.At present,the most common treatment for acute appendicitis is surgical treatment including open appendectomy,laparoscopic appendectomy and abdominal percutaneous catheter drainage.Surgical treatment has its advantages but also its disadvantages.Patients prefer to achieve the purpose of relieving pain through conservative treatment in our country,but at present the western medicine conservative treatment for acute appendicitis still has its limitation.Chinese medicine's understanding of appendicitis and its complications in modern medicine can be traced back to the era of Huangdi Neijing,and the acute appendicitis is classified as "intestinal abscess" in traditional Chinese medicine.At present,a large number of domestic clinical trials can show that traditional Chinese medicine treatment on the basis of simple western conservative treatment can effectively improve the treatment of acute appendicitis clinical efficacy.At the same time,the treatment methods of traditional Chinese medicine surgery are flexible and changeable.Besides the common oral administration methods,there are also many characteristic administration methods such as traditional Chinese medicine enema treatment and acupoint sticking therapy.In this study,I select the acupoint sticking therapy as the basic method,and the Dahuang Mudan Fang,the classic prescription of traditional Chinese medicine for the surgical treatment of intestinal abscess,which is made into Dahuang Mudan Fang Ointment,as the main prescription,to study and observe the effect of this treatment on acute appendicitis.ObjectiveIn this study,the patients with acute appendicitis were taken as the research object,and a randomized controlled experiment was conducted to explore the clinical adjuvant efficacy of Dahuang Mudan Fang Ointment in acute appendicitis studied in this study,so as to provide a new idea and method for the treatment of acute appendicitis by combining Traditional Chinese and western medicine.MethodI used the randomized controlled methods in this study,and collected 64 patients randomly divided into treatment group and control group.The control group was given only standard western medicine treatment,and the treatment group was given an additional treatment with Dahuang Mudan Fang Ointment including Dahuang,Mudanpi,Taoren,Dongguaren and Mangxiao,applied to Shenque acupoint Vital signs and time of onset were recorded during the study.The Modified NRS was used to record the degree of abdominal pain.Record the recovery time of bowel sounds on the medical record sheet.Abdominal imaging was used to evaluate the size and evolution of the diseased appendix.Evaluation of inflammation is indicated by a blood test.Then according to the state administration of traditional Chinese medicine issued"traditional Chinese medicine disease and syndrome diagnosis of curative effect standards”to determine the curative effect.Finally,statistical method was used to compare the difference of efficacy between the two groups,so as to discuss the clinical efficacy of Dahuang Mudan Fang Ointment applied to Shenque acupoint in acute appendicitis.ResultAfter statistical analysis,it was found that there was a significant statistical difference between the two groups in pain relief and the recovery time of bowel sounds at the second to third day(P<0.05),indicating that the treatment group had an obvious curative effect compared with the control group in these two aspects.In the blood test,there was a significant difference in the change of procalcitonin on the 3rd day(P<0.05),and the curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.The changes of leukocyte,lymphocyte and c-reactive protein showed significant difference on the 7th day(P<0.05),and the curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.Neutrophils showed significant difference on the 14th day(P<0.05),and the curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.There was no significant difference in appendix size between the two groups within 14 days(P>,0.05),but there was a significant difference in appendix size between the two groups before and after treatment(P>,0.05),indicating that although there was little difference in appendix size between the two groups,both groups were effective."Standard of diagnosis of disease and curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine"as evaluation standard,evaluating curative effect of two groups of patients.The results showed that the cure rate of the treatment group was 32.3%and the effective rate was 96.7%,while the cure rate of the control group was 21.9%and 96.8%.The effective rates of the two groups were basically similar,but the cure rate of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group,indicating that the traditional Western medicine combined with Dahuang Mudan Fang Ointment can effectively improve the cure rate.ConclusionThrough clinical research,it can be concluded that the Dahuang Mudan Fang Ointment applied to Shenque acupoint in this study has a relatively obvious clinical effect on the relief of symptoms of acute appendicitis,and the treatment method also has a certain effect on the elimination of inflammation.
