Background:Upper airway cough syndrome is a common disease in respiratory clinics.The main manifestation of this disease is cough,there are also nasal and pharyngeal symptoms in the program of this disease.Western medicine treats this disease mostly with symptomatic treatment,but the curative effect lasts for a short time and the condition is easy to repeat.Traditional Chinese medicine has a unique advantage in treating this disease.Yan Jun is good at applying Liqi Tongqiao Liyan method to treat upper airway cough syndrome,with good curative effect.Objective:By counting the effective medical records of Yan Jun applying Liqi Tongqiao Liyan method to treat upper airway cough syndrome,using data mining technology to summarize the syndrome differentiation and medication rules of Yan Jun in the treatment of upper airway cough syndrome,to inherit the clinical experience of Yan Jun and develop ideas for the treatment of upper airway cough syndrome by traditional Chinese medicine.Methods:This study included the upper airway cough syndrome medical records in the outpatient clinic of Yan Jun from September 2017 to December 2019,and these medical records met the inclusion and exclusion criteria of this study strictly.The researchers standardized the basic information of the patients and input them into the traditional Chinese medicine inheritance assistance platform(V2.5).Through the platform's frequency statistics,association rule analysis,entropy clustering,and new data analysis functions,we can obtain the syndrome distribution pattern of upper airway cough syndrome and get the core medicine combinations.Combine the data and expert interviews,then summarize the clinical experience of Yan Jun in the treatment of upper airway cough syndrome.Results:74 patients with upper airway cough syndrome were included in this study,with 101 medical records.Statistical results show that the upper airway cough syndrome is more common in young and middle-aged women.Common symptoms include cough,itchy throat,dry mouth,dry throat,sticky sputum,less sputum,white phlegm,bitter mouth,runny nose,pharyngeal foreign body sensation,etc.The main syndromes of this disease are wind-phlegm love lung and wind-phlegm muggy.Yan Jun often uses warm and cold medicines to treat upper airway cough syndrome.Among them,bitter,spicy and sweet medicines have the most occurrences.In terms of the meridian of drugs,the drugs for treating upper airway cough syndrome mainly belong to the lung meridian,followed by the stomach,spleen,liver,heart,and large intestine meridian.The disease is located in the lungs,nose,and pharynx,and is related to multiple organs.It is often based on physical weakness and induced by external evils.The key to its pathogenesis lies in the imbalance of the rise and fall of Qi,and the principle of treatment should be based on Liqi Tongqiao Liyan.The most commonly used drugs are Qianhu,Zhibaibu,Almond,Pinellia chinensis,Burdock seed,Cicada slough,Zhimahuang,Poria,Bellflower,Baiqian,Xin Yi,Perilla Leaf,Nepeta,Roasted Licorice and Mint.Commonly used paired medicines include Baiqian-Qianhu,Zhimahuang-Almond,Campanulaceae-Licorice,Campanulaceae-Zhiqiao,Burdock seed-Cicada slough,Cicada slough-Jiangcan,Xiangfu-Perilla.Other commonly used drug combination includes Zhibaibu-Zhiziwan-Zhikuandonghua and Nepeta-Mint-Uncaria.Conclusion:Yan Jun's clinical experience in treating upper airway cough syndrome can be summarized as follows:?
