Objective:In this study, the characteristics of Jueyin and Shaoyang constitution of the three Yin and three Yang constitution type proposed by the professor Zhao Jinxi are discussed, and the characteristics of TCM syndromes and temperament types under the influence of the common disease process of diabetes mellitus combined with hypertension are discussed. In order to deepen the cognition of the characteristics of Jueyin and Shaoyang constitution, and provide more basis for the clinical application of diagnosis and treatment mode of distinguishing constitution, disease and TCM syndrome. Methods:In this study, the cases were from patients who were admitted to the outpatient or ward of Dongzhimen Hospital from February 1,2018 to May 21,2019.The international scale, such as EPQ-RSC,and questionnaire were used for patients who were admitted the study according to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria. The information was collected with quality control. The collected information was electronically digitized, and the data was processed and statistically analyzed using Excel and SPSS 23.0,with P<0.05 as a statistically significant marker.Results:(1)General information: There was a statistically significant difference in the gender composition of patients with diabetes mellitus and hypertension between the Jueyin and Shaoyang constitution in this study(P =0.040).There were no significant differences in age composition and BMI between the Jueyin and Shaoyang constitution patients with diabetes mellitus combined with hypertension and in this study(P>0.05);(2)Clinical information: There was no statistically significant difference in the chemical indicators, duration of diabetes and hypertension between the two groups of patients(P>0.05);The majority of Jueyin constitution group(59.3%)had history of smoking or drinking history accounted for the majority, while the majority of Shaoyang constitution group(55.9%)did not have the history of smoking or drinking, but there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05);The highest incidence of diabetic complications in the Shaoyang constitution group was macrovascular complications, and the lowest were microvascular complications;(3)TCM Syndrome: The incidence of TCM syndromes in the Jueyin constitution group which ranked in the top 3 were blood stasis syndrome(70.3%),phlegm-damp syndrome(66.7%),upper hyperactivity of liver yang syndrome/ yin deficiency syndrome(55.6%),the incidence of TCM syndromes in the Shaoyang constitution group which ranked in the top 3 were qi stagnation syndrome/ blood stasis syndrome(73.5%),yin deficiency syndrome(64.7%);The incidence of qi stagnation syndrome(37.0%)and the incidence of blood deficiency syndrome(14.8%)were the lowest in Jueyin constitution group, while the incidence of blood deficiency syndrome(32.4%)and the incidence of knot heat syndrome(29.4%)in the Shaoyang constitution group were the lowest;Among the deficiency syndromes, both groups had the highest incidence of yin deficiency syndrome and the lowest incidence of blood deficiency syndrome; There were no patient only had deficiency syndromes in the two groups, and the majority of the patients in the two groups had both deficiency and excess syndromes. There was no statistical difference in the combination of deficiency and excess syndromes between the two groups(P>0.05);(4)Temperament type: the most common temperament type in the Jueyin constitution group is multi-blood(51.9%),but the most common in the Shaoyang constitution group is depression(35.3%),but there was no statistical difference in the distribution of temperament types between the two groups(P>0.05);The T scores of E scale between Jueyin constitution group and the Shaoyang constitution group were statistically different(P=0.046),while the T scores of the N scale were not statistically different between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions:(1)Among the complications of diabetes, the incidence of macrovascular complications are the highest in both Jueyin and Shaoyang constitutions with diabetes and hypertension;(2)In the aspect of TCM syndrome, the possibility of getting blood stasis syndrome is high in the Jueyin constitution patients with diabetes mellitus combined with hypertension, while the possibility of getting qi stagnation syndrome and blood stasis syndrome is high in the Shaoyang constitution patients with diabetes mellitus combined with hypertension;the possibility of getting blood deficiency syndrome in Jueyin constitution group is low,and the possibility of getting kont heat syndrome in Shaoyang constitution group is low;the majority of patients with diabetes and hypertension in both Jueyin constitution and Shaoyang constitution are with multiple syndromes and also with both deficiency syndromes and excess syndromes.(3)In terms of temperament type,Jueyin constitution patients with diabetes mellitus combined with hypertension are tend to be more extroverted, while Shaoyang constitution patients with diabetes mellitus combined with hypertension are are tend to be more introverted.
