Purpose: The clinical materials about the patients infected with rosacea,who are hospitalized in the department of dermatology of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,from February 2017 to January 2020,are analyzed retrospectively;the clinical features of the attack of rosacea and the therapeutic effects of the integration of Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine are searched;and clinical efficacy and the laws of medicine application of rosacea,which is cured by the combination of Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine,are analyzed by document databases.Materials and methods: In research 1,the patients who are diagnosed with rosacea and hospitalized from February 2017 to January 2020,are searched with the aid of the electronic medical orders and Electronic Medical Record(EMR)system of admission department of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.After using Excel worksheet that registers the patients' medical records,the information are studied by retrospective analysis;In research 2,the methods of systematic review and Meta analysis are adopted to give a comprehensive retrieval of documents on the treatment of rosacea with the combination of Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine which are searched by the clinical randomized controlled trials in the database,thereby incorporating qualified documents for Meta analysis.Results:1.Syndrome type:In research 1 and 2,western physicians think that erythema and papule are the main conditions,while TCM physicians believe that lung and stomach's hotness and syndrome of damt-heat ftagnation are the chief conditions.2.Endotherapy for Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM): In research 1,high-frequency Chinese crude drug-scutellaria>rehmannia>flos lonicerae>cortex moutan >liquiritia >forsythia suspensa>edebourellae>schizonepetae>bupleurum chinense>gardenia;Xiyanping injection is chiefly applied to syndrome of damt-heat ftagnation.In research 2,high-frequency Chinese herbs-Rehmannia Glutinosa=liquoriceroot=red peony root>Tree Peony Bark>baical skullcap root>Common Gardenia Fruit=White Mulberry Root-bark>Chinese Angelica>Coptis Root=Loquat Leaf.3.External treatments for TCM: In research 1,external therapy primarily adopts the bloodletting of ear apex;In research 2,heat-clearing external application of Chinese medicine is major method.4.Endotherapy for Western medicine: In research 1 and 2,the major antibiotic is minocycline.In research 1,desensitization anti-inflammatory,antihistamine,immunoregulation are principally applied;In research 2,antibiotic,anti-mite drugs are the main medicines(minocycline hydrochloride?metronidazole),minocycline is the major antibiotic.5.External treatments for Western medicine: In research 1 and 2,anti-inflammatory agents and anti-mite drugs and humectant are drugs for exterior use.Laser is used in research 2.6.Therapeutic effects: In research 1,total effective rate is 100 %,the markedly effective rates for syndrome of damt-heat ftagnation and western therapy for papular type are the highest.In research 2,the vanishment rate of skin lesion on the treatment of integrated Traditional Chinese and Western medicine group is higher than monotherapy group.Conclusion:1.Therapeutic effects of the integration of Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine on rosacea are exact,the markedly effective rates for syndrome of damt-heat ftagnation and Western therapy for papular type are the highest.2.Through Meta analysis,High-frequency Chinese herbs-baical skullcap root?Rehmannia Glutinosa ? Wild Honeysuckle Flower ? Tree Peony Bark ? liquorice root ? Weeping Forsythia Capsule?Divaricate Saposhnikovia Root?Fineleaf Schizonepeta Herb?Chinese Thorowax Root?Common Gardenia Fruit;high frequency antibiotic in Western medicine is minocycline.
