Objective:To collect the liaoning university hospital of traditional Chinese medicine rheumatism branch hospital Rheumatoid arthritis(Rheumatoid arthritis,RA)combined with Type 2 diabetes(Type 2 diabetes mellitus,T2DM)patients' general information, syndrome classification, symptoms, signs and laboratory test results, using statistical software analysis the distribution characteristics of TCM syndrome Type and with the objective index of correlation, exploration can be used to guide the objective index of the disease clinical syndrome differentiation Type, provide reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment..Methods:The RA patients with T2 DM who were admitted to the department of rheumatology, affiliated hospital of liaoning university of traditional Chinese medicine from May 2016 to October 2010 were screened.According to the diagnostic criteria, inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria,193 patients with ra-t2 dm were selected and the following patients were collected: 1.General information: gender, age,RA course,T2 DM course;2.2.Signs and symptoms: number of swollen joints, number of painful joints;3.Laboratory examination: rheumatoid factor(RF),c-reactive protein(CRP),ESR,immunoglobulin(Ig A,Ig G,Ig M),complement(C3,C4),fasting blood glucose(FBG),2h postpranational blood glucose(2h PG),glycosylated hemoglobin(Hb Alc);4.Disease evaluation of patients with rheumatoid arthritis(DAS28 score);5.TCM diagnosis and syndrome type. The medical record information database of the selected patients was established, and SPSS 22.0 software was used for statistical analysis of the results.Results:1.The proportion of TCM syndromes in 193 patients with ra-t2 dm was from high to low: cold and dampness bi syndrome(31.6%),> syndrome of dampness and heat bi syndrome(29.0%),> syndrome of liver and kidney deficiency(14.5%),> syndrome of qi and Yin deficiency(11.9%),> syndrome of phlegm and blood stasis bi syndrome(7.8%),>syndrome of rheumatism bi syndrome(2.1%),> syndrome of qi and blood deficiency(1.6%),= collateral stasis syndrome(1.6%).2.(1)the incidence rate of male and female patients was about 1:3,and there was no statistically significant difference between syndrome types in each group(P >,0.05).(2)the average age of patients with qi and blood deficiency syndrome was the largest, with statistical significance(P < 0.05).(3)patients with phlegm and blood stasis syndrome had the longest RA course, and the difference was statistically significant(P< 0.05).The disease course of T2 DM in patients with deficiency of qi and blood was the longest, without statistical significance(P >,0.05).3.(1)there was a statistically significant difference in RF level between different syndrome types(P < 0.05).The RF level of patients with deficiency of qi and blood and deficiency of liver and kidney was the most significantly increased, and there was a statistically significant difference between the RF level of patients with deficiency of liver and kidney and deficiency of qi and Yin(P < 0.05).(2)the difference in FBG level between different syndrome types was statistically significant(P < 0.05).The FBG level of patients with qi and Yin deficiency syndrome was the highest, and the FBG level of patients with cold and wet bibi syndrome was statistically significant(P < 0.05).(3)the scores of ESR,CRP,Ig A,Ig G,Ig M,C3,C4,2H PG,Hb A1 C and DAS28 were not statistically significant(P >,0.05).Conclusion:1.The TCM syndrome of ra-t2 dm patients was mostly cold and wet bi resistance;2.Age and RA course can be used as reference indexes to guide the differentiation of TCM syndrome differentiation in patients with ra-t2 dm.Older patients are more likely to be diagnosed with deficiency of qi and blood, and longer patients are more likely to be diagnosed with phlegm, blood stasis and bi syndrome. It is difficult to use gender and course of T2 DM as reference indexes to guide syndrome differentiation and classification of this disease.3.RF and FBG can be used as the reference indexes to guide the TCM syndrome differentiation of ra-t2 dm patients.Patients with high RF are more likely to be diagnosed as liver and kidney deficiency syndrome, while patients with high FBG are more likely to be diagnosed as qi and Yin deficiency syndrome. The scores of ESR,CRP,Ig A,Ig G,Ig M,C3,C4,2H PG,Hb A1 c and DAS28 are difficult to be used as the reference indexes to guide the syndrome differentiation and classification of this disease.
