Purpose: To compare the changes of scores of children with mycoplasma pneumoniae infection cough before and after treatment, and to observe the clinical effect of modified Yangyin Qingfei Decoction on children with mycoplasma pneumoniae infection cough(yin deficiency syndrome).Method: A total of 60 children who met the inclusion criteria and were admitted to the pediatric outpatient department of the affiliated hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from September 2018 to December 2019 were randomly divided into control group and treatment group according to the random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was given azithromycin and montelukast sodium orally, and the treatment group was supplemented with modified Yangyin Qingfei Decoction(granule formulations)on the basis of the oral azithromycin.A course of treatment lasted for14 days and one course was observed. The scores of each index before treatment,on the 7th day of treatment and the 14 th day of treatment were recorded, and the scores of main syndromes, secondary syndromes, total syndromes and total effective rate were counted.SPSS22.0 software was used for statistical analysis of the data to determine whether there were statistical differences.Results:1.Before treatment, there was no significant difference in sex, age, and the scores of cough, secondary syndromes, total syndromes and single symptom between the two groups(P>0.05),indicating that the clinical data were comparable.2.Comparison of cough score, secondary symptom score and total disease syndrome score after treatment:The cough score, secondary symptom score and total symptom score of the two groups of children on the 7th and 14 th day after treatment were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05),and the scores of the two groups were significantly lower on the 14 th and7th day after treatment(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in cough score between the two groups at each time point(P>0.05).The secondary symptom scores of the treatmentgroup on the 7th and 14 th day after treatment were significantly lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).The total score of syndrome in the treatment group on day 7 and day14 was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).3.Comparison of monomial symptom scores after treatment: The scores of symptoms in the treatment group were significantly improved on the 7th and 14 th day after treatment(P <0.05),and lower on the 14 th day after treatment(P < 0.05).In the control group, the scores of expectoration, pharyngeal dryness, sleep falseness and stool dryness were significantly lower on the 7th and 14 th day after treatment(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups at all time points(P > 0.05).The score of dry throat in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group on the 7th day after treatment(P< 0.05),but there was no significant difference on the 14 th day(P > 0.05).The scores of night sweat and hand foot heart heat in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group on the 7th and 14 th day after treatment(P < 0.05).4.Comparison of the overall clinical efficacy of the two groups of children: After one course of treatment, the more obvious rate of the treatment group was 93.10%,and the more obvious rate of the control group was 92.86%.By rank-sum test, there was no statistical difference in the overall clinical efficacy between the two groups(P > 0.05).Conclusion: Yangyin Qingfei Decoction in the treatment of children’s cough after Mycoplasma pneumoniae infection(yin deficiency syndrome),can play the same effect as western medicine, can effectively alleviate the symptoms of children, and in the improvement of the secondary disease has more advantages, the clinical effect is obvious,it is worth promoting the use.
