Purpose: This study investigates the current status of disability acceptance and self-efficacy of elderly stroke patients with disabilities by investigating the elderly patients with stroke disabilities, and analyzes the factors affecting disability acceptance.Relationship to provide a theoretical basis for the clinical formulation of effective nursing interventions.Objects and methods: Using the convenience sampling method,160 elderly patients with stroke disabilities who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria in the neurology department and the brain rehabilitation department of a provincial tertiary hospital were selected as the research objects.Use Baseline Information Questionnaire, modified Rankin scale(m RS),disability acceptance scale(ADS)and chronic disease self-efficacy scale(SSC)was used to assess.SPSS 20.0 software was used for statistical analysis.Statistical methods mainly include: general demographic data,disease-related data, disability acceptance, chronic disease self-efficacy status of elderly stroke patients with disability.Descriptive statistical analysis is used: measurement data are expressed as mean ± standard deviation, and count data frequency and composition ratio.Univariate analysis of disability acceptance: using t test or univariate analysis of variance.Correlation analysis of disability acceptance and chronic disease self-efficacy: using Pearson correlation analysis.Analysis of influencing factors of disability acceptance: multiple linear regression analysis was used. Results: In this study,164 questionnaires were distributed and 164 questionnaires were recovered.Among them,160 valid questionnaires were recovered. The questionnaire recovery rate was 100%,and the total effective question answering rate was 97.6%.1.The disability acceptance of elderly stroke disabled patients was(79.370 ± 12.870)points,of which 15.6% were at low acceptance level,74.4% were at intermediate acceptance level, and 10.0% were at high acceptance level.2.The total score of chronic disease self-efficacy in elderly patients with stroke disability is(5.218 ± 2.395)points,of which 47.5% of patients are at low self-efficacy level,23.1% of patients are at intermediate self-efficacy level, and 29.4% of patients are at higher level of self-efficacy.3.Correlation analysis showed that there was a significant positive correlation between disability acceptance and chronic disease self-efficacy(r = 0.576,P <0.01).4.Single factor analysis of disability acceptance in elderly patients with stroke disability. The results show that: 5 factors have statistically significant effects on disability acceptance.Mean monthly income, family members suffering from stroke, sensory impairment, language, physical dysfunction.Dysfunction is the main influencing factor of disability acceptance in elderly patients with stroke disability(P <0.05).The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that: the average monthly income, limb dysfunction, sensory dysfunction, and language dysfunction entered a final regression equation, and the four influencing factors explained 31.3% of the variance in disability acceptance. Conclusion: 1.The overall disability acceptance of stroke patients with middle-aged and elderly in this study is at a medium level. To this end, medical staff should dynamically assess the patient's level of disability acceptance and provide timely interventions.2.The overall sense of self-efficacy of elderly patients with stroke disabilities is at a moderate level. To this end, medical staff should actively assess and improve the level of patient self-efficacy.3.There is a significant positive correlation between disability acceptance and its dimensions in elderly patients with stroke disabilities and chronic disease self-efficacy and its dimensions, that is,the higher the level of chronic disease self-efficacy,the higher the disability acceptance level. Therefore,in the clinical work,we can start from the aspects of disease knowledge, health behavior, pain management, etc.,to improve the level of self-efficacy of patients with chronic diseases, and help to improve the level of patient disability acceptance.4.Average monthly income, physical dysfunction, sensory dysfunction, and language dysfunction are the main influencing factors of disability acceptance in elderly stroke patients with disabilities. For this reason, medical personnel should fully mobilize patients 'enthusiasm for participating in disease treatment and rehabilitation training, which will help improve patients' physical dysfunction, sensory and language dysfunction, and increase the level of patient's disability acceptance.
