Research On The Application Law Of Coptis In The Treatment Of Ancient Diabetic And Related Diseases

Purpose:To explore the application rule of Coptis chinensis Franch in the treatment of diabetes and related diseases with the help of the database management system of Puji Fang,so as to provide reference for the modern application of Coptis chinensis Franch in the treatment of the disease.Material and method:The database management system of Puji Fang was used to comprehensively search the prescriptions of Coptis chinensis for treating diabetes and related diseases in ancient times.The names of prescriptions and drug compositions were recorded.The data were entered into SPSS22.0 software.Descriptive statistical analysis,chi-square test and cluster analysis methods were used to determine the number of prescriptions,drug use frequency,common compatibility,sexual taste and meridian tropism etc.containing Coptis chinensis compound.Results:1.A total of 24 kinds of diabetes and related diseases were included,involving 776 prescriptions,including 169 compound prescriptions containing Coptis chinensis and 167 kinds of traditional Chinese medicines,with 1219 occurrences in total.2.Statistics on the compatibility of Coptis chinensis with diabetes and related diseases: the top five are diabetes(51 times),diabetes elimination(18 times),excessive drinking water(17times),diabetes,dry mouth and tongue(10 times)and deficiency-heat thirst(10 times).3.Drug use of compatible Coptis chinensis in treating diabetes and related diseases: 28 kinds of Chinese medicines are used more than or equal to 10 times,and the top five Chinese medicines are Trichosanthis Radix(102 times),Ophiopogon japonicus(67 times),Anemarrhena Rhizoma(48 times),Ginseng Radix(39 times)and Concha Ostreae(34 times).4.Commonly used drug pairs compatible with Coptis chinensis for treating diabetes and related diseases include Coptis chinensis-Trichosanthis Radix,Coptis chinensis-Ophiopogon japonicus,Coptis chinensis-Anemarrhena asphodeloides,Coptis chinensis-Ginseng,Coptis chinensis-Concha Ostreae.Among them,Coptis chinensis-Trichosanthis Radix and Coptis chinensis-Ophiopogon japonicus belong to the best compatibility,and Coptischinensis-Anemarrhena asphodeloides,Coptis chinensis-ginseng,Coptis chinensis-oyster belong to the common compatibility.5.Distribution of drug-induced flavor meridian tropism in the treatment of diabetes and related diseases by coptis chinensis compatibility: four qi are mainly cold;The five flavors are mainly sweet,followed by bitter.Meridians are mainly lung,heart,liver,kidney,stomach and spleen meridians.6.Results of drug classification: the top five drugs are: antipyretic,tonic,tranquilizer,diuretic,dampness-eliminating and liver-calming.The heat-clearing drugs are mainly composed of heat-clearing and purging powder and heat-clearing and dampness-drying drugs.In addition,qi and yin tonics are the main tonics.Conclusion:1.The traditional Chinese medicine compound containing Coptis chinensis was mainly used for treatment in ancient times.2.The drugs compatible with Coptis chinensis are mainly heat-clearing drugs and deficiency-tonifying drugs,of which heat-clearing drugs are mainly heat-clearing and purging powder and heat-clearing and dampness-drying drugs,and deficiency-tonifying drugs are mainly qi-tonifying drugs and yin-tonifying drugs,which embody the therapeutic principles of clearing heat,moistening dryness,nourishing yin and promoting fluid production for diabetes.
