Objective:The purpose of this project is to observe the clinical effect of Spasmolytic Manipulation through randomized clinical trials, and to screen out effective massage therapy for spastic paralysis after cerebral infarction. Methods:In this study,60 patients with spastic paralysis after cerebral infarction were randomly divided into a test group and a control group,30 cases in each group;the test group was treated with the Spasmolytic Manipulation, and the control group was treated with conventional massage therapy,7 consecutive treatments per week After a day of rest, the treatment was continued for a total of 14 times;before and after treatment, the Modified Ashworth Scale,Barthel Index scale, and simplified Fugl-Meyer Assessment scale were used to assess the degree of spasticity of the limbs, the activity of daily living, and the motor function of the limbs.Results:(1)General information: The gender, age and course of disease of the two groups were compared, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05),and was comparable.(2)Limb spasm degree: There was no statistically significant difference in MAS spasm level between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),which was comparable. There was a statistically significant difference between the two groups before and after treatment in the MAS spasm grade group(P<0.05),suggesting that both groups had an effect in improving the degree of limb spasm in the patients. After treatment, there was a statistically significant difference in MAS spasm grade between the two groups(P<0.05),suggesting that the experimental group was significantly better than the control group in improving the degree of limb spasm in the patients.(3)Activity of daily living: The BI scores of the two groups of patientsbefore treatment were compared, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05),and was comparable. Before and after treatment, there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups of patients in the BI score group(P<0.01),suggesting that both groups have significant effects in improving patients’ activity of daily living. After treatment, the BI scores of the two groups were significantly different(P<0.05),suggesting that the experimental group was better than the control group in improving their activity of daily living.(4)Limb motor function: The simplified FMA score comparison between the two groups of patients before treatment, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05),and was comparable. The comparison between the two groups of patients before and after treatment in the simplified FMA score group was statistically significant(P<0.05),suggesting that both groups had significant effects in improving the motor function of the patients’ limbs. After treatment, the simplified FMA score between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.01),suggesting that the experimental group was significantly better than the control group in improving the motor function of the patients’ limbs. Conclusion:Both Spasmolytic Manipulation and conventional massage manipulations can treat patients with spastic paralysis after cerebral infarction can improve the degree of limb spasm, activity of daily living and motor function of the limbs. Moreover, the curative effect of Spasmolytic Manipulation is better than onventional massage manipulations, which is worthy of further in-depth research and clinical application.
