Objective:To study the normal reference range of specific TSH,FT3 and FT4 for pregnant women in Nanning area of Guangxi before eight weeks of gestation. Methods:The levels of thyroid stimulating hormone(TSH),free triiodothyronine(FT3)and free thyroxine(FT4)were measured by electrochemiluminescence(ECL)in 180 healthy singleton pregnant women in Nanning area before 8 weeks of gestation. The reference ranges were expressed by bilateral limits(P2.5-P97.5).It is compared with the normal reference range recommended by domestic and foreign guidelines. Results:Before eight weeks of gestation,FT3 ranged from 3.47 to 5.80 pmol/L,FT4 from 7.51 to 13.88 pmol/L and TSH from 0.14 to 4.27 mIU/L for healthy pregnant women in Nanning,Guangxi.Conclusion:(1)This study establishes the normal reference range of specific TSH,FT3 and FT4 before eight weeks of gestation in Nanning,Guangxi.(2)The reference ranges of TSH,FT3 and FT4 established in this study before eight weeks of gestation are different from those recommended by the American Thyroid Association(ATA),and different from those established in other regions of China. It is meaningful to establish the reference ranges in this region. Objective:To study the levels of serum ferritin and 25-hydroxyvitamin D in women before eight weeks of pregnancy and its influence on TSH?FT3?FT3.Methods:From March 2017 to April 2018,women with first pregnancy diagnosis at the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University were selected.Serum ferritin and 25-hydroxyvitamin D levels were measured by automatic immunoassay. The distribution of serum ferritin and 25-hydroxyvitamin D levels was studied. The women were divided into winter and spring seasons according to the time of blood collection. The levels of 25-hydroxyvitamin D in winter-spring season and summer-autumn season were compared between group A(October-March next year)and group B(April-October next year). At last, the levels of serum ferritin and vitamin D TSH,FT3 and FT4 were compared.Results:(1)The serum ferritin(SF)of women before eight weeks of gestation was 72.93±49.94 ng/mL).25-hydroxyvitamin D was 38.98±10.67 nmol/L.(2)Pregnant women with iron deficiency during pregnancy accounted for 8.3%of the total, and iron reserves during pregnancy declined accounted for 11.7%of the total. The pregnant women were in a state of vitamin D deficiency before eight weeks of gestation,in which vitamin deficiency accounted for 83.33%of the total, and vitamin D deficiency accounted for 16.67%of the total.(3)The level of 25-hydroxyvitamin D in summer and autumn(41.53 ±10.95nmol/L)before eight weeks of pregnancy was higher than that in winter and spring(35.42±9.03nmol/L),and the difference was statistically significant compared with that in winter and spring(P<0.01).(4)There was no significant difference in serum TSH,FT3 and FT4 levels under different serum ferritin levels before eight weeks of gestation(TSH:P 0.473,FT3:P 0.956,FT4:P 0.569).(5)There was no significant difference in serum TSH,FT3 and FT4 levels at different levels of 25-hydroxyvitamin D before eight weeks of gestation(TSH:P 0.776,FT3:P 0.490,FT4:P 0.290).Conclusion:(1)The serum ferritin level of women before eight weeks of gestation was in normal level, but it is still recommended that the serum ferritin be checked regularly during pregnancy.(2)Women's 25-hydroxyvitamin D levels before eight weeks of gestation were in a state of vitamin D deficiency, and the season had an impact on vitamin D levels in early pregnancy, vitamin D levels in summer and autumn were significantly higher than those in winter and spring.(3)The serum ferritin and vitamin D levels had no effect on serum TSH,FT3,FT4 levels.
