Objective:To observe the clinical effect of pressure moxibustion Bai-Hui combined with Banxiabaizhutianma decoction in the treatment of obstructive vertigo in phlegm turbidity. Methods: 63 patients who met the criteria were selected and divided into groups A,B and C three according to the grouping method,with21 patients in each group.Group A was treated with Bai-Hui pressure moxibustion combined with Banxiabaizhutianma decoction.Pressure moxibustion once A day and traditional Chinese medicine once A day for 10 days.Group B was treated with pressure moxibustion Bai-Hui,and the treatment course of operation was the same as that of group A.Group C was treated with Banxiabaizhutianma decoction, and the decoction method and course of treatment were the same as group A.Patients in the three groups were evaluated by the clinical symptom evaluation scale, diziness assessment rating score(DARS)and dizziness handicap inventory(DHI)to observe the TCM syndrome score, vertigo degree, and the influence degree and effective rate of vertigo on patients' life treatment before and after treatment. Results: 1.TCM syndrome score:the main symptom, secondary symptom and total score of vertigo clinical syndrome evaluation scale decreased significantly after treatment compared with that before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01);The difference between the main symptoms and total score groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05).There were statistically significant differences between subdisease 1(visual rotation, nausea and vomiting, and cold sweating limbs)groups, among which group A and B were superior to group C(P<0.05),while there were no statistically significant differences between group A and B(P>0.05).There were statistically significant differences between subdisease 2(headache and tinnitus)grou ps,in which group A and C were superior to group B(P<0.05),while there were no statistically significant differences between group A and C(P>0.05).2.Degree of vertigo:The vertigo Rating Scale(DARS)scores of the three groups decreased significantly after treatment compared with before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).The difference between groups was statistically significant(P<0.01),in which group A had A significant decrease compared with group B and C(P<0.01),while there was no significant difference between group B and C(P>0.05).3.Influence degree of quality of life:scores of VERTIgo Disorder scale(DHI)after treatment in the three groups were significantly lower than that before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).The difference between groups was statistically significant(P<0.01),in which group A had A significant decrease compared with group B and C(P<0.01),while there was no significant difference between group B and C(P>0.05).4.Clinical efficacy:the effective rate between the three groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05);However,the more significant the comparison among the three groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),in which group A was superior to group B and C,while there was no significant difference between group B and C(P>0.05).Conclusion: Bai-Hui pressure moxibustion combined with Banxiabaizhu tianma decoction can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of obstructive vertigo in phlegm turbidity,TCM syndrome integral, improve the quality of life;It has more advantages in alleviating the degree of vertigo and improving the quality of life.Moreover,Bai-Hui pressure moxibustion and Banxiabaizhutianma decoction have unique advantages in improving different symptoms. In general, combined therapy can alleviate the clinical symptoms of vertigo and improve the quality of life.
