Clinical Observation Of Xiaozhong Lishui External Application Powder In Treating Obstinate Subcutaneous Effusion After Modified Radical Mastectomy Of Breast Cancer

Objective:To observe the effectiveness and safety of topical Chinese medicine Xiaozhong Lishui Waifu Powder in treating refractory seroma after breast modified radical.Methods:72 patients with refractory seroma after breast modified radical who underwent surgery were divided into two groups according to the principle of random parallel control,including 36 cases in the treatment group and 36 cases in the control group.During the observation process,because the relevant patients did not perform treatment and inspection according to the regulations or other reasons,3 cases were excluded from the treatment group and 5 cases from the control group.Finally,the number of effective cases was 33 in the treatment group and 31 in the control group.The patients in the control group?n=31?adopted conventional negative pressure drainage;on the basis,patients in the treatment group?n=33?were used Xiaozhong Lishui Waifu Powder beside drainage device.Both groups were stopping treating until extubation and follow up for 4 weeks.Observe the drainage time of indwelling needles,the amount of drainage volume on 7^thday,14^thdayand 21^thday,the relapse rate and the incidence of complications in 2 groups of patients,and then conduct statistical analysis.Results:There was no significant difference of initial drainage volume between the experimental group and the control group?P>0.05?.The drainage time,the amount of drainage volume on 7^thday and 14^thday and the relapse rate of the treatment group were all shorter or less than those of the control group?P<0.05?.Nobody was observed on 21^thday in two groups.The incidence of local skin changes in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group?P<0.05?,but the local skin changes were graded I-II,and the patients could tolerate.There was no significant difference in the incidence of inflamed skin between the treatment group and the control group?P>0.05?.There was no patient of the treatment group and the control group had flap necrosis,infection of incision and fever.Conclusion:Xiaozhong Lishui Waifu Powder combined with conventional negative pressure drainage treatment can significantly shorten the drainage time compared with simple conventional negative pressure drainage treatment,and it also can reduce relapse rate.It was proven to be safe,reliable and easy to use.
