As an important part of traditional Chinese medicine,acupuncture and moxibustion has always played an important role in traditional Chinese medicine and is the important content and concrete embodiment of traditional culture.As an effective treatment method,acupuncture has great vitality.With the rapid development of medicine,acupuncture and moxibustion are concerned and applied worldwildly as an effective non-drug treatment method.The clinical application of the eight influential points is extensive,the curative effect is stable and the compatibility is regular.The word“eight meeting”was first seen in“classic of difficulties”,and put the concept of“eight meeting”.The earliest document that“eight meeting”is referred to as“eight meeting points”is"Zhenjiu Zishengjing" written by Wang Zhizhong in the song dynasty in 1220 AD,and is described in the third chapter--deficiency damage,“eight meeting points”has been used up to now.This project clarifies the location of“eight meeting points”in the national standard--<Name and Location of Acupoints>,and summarizes the functions of“eight meeting points”.Starting with the study of modern scholars of“eight meeting points”,using the bibliometrics,applying citespace software,In terms of data mining,around eight meeting literature’s publication time,bibliographic-author co-occurrence,bibliographic-author-institution mixture co-occurrence,bibliographic-keywords co-occurrence and clustering analysis,,keywords-time clustering,knowledge evolution and so on,investigate the future research direction.The researchs show that the number of“eight meeting points”study is increasing.The authors with high publication volume include Wang ling,Cao fang and Jiao zhaohua,etc.The institutions like Guangzhou university of traditional Chinese medicine and Shandong university of traditional Chinese medicine,which pay attention to the therapy characteristics and clinical application combination regular of“eight meeting points”.The main research areas include eight meeting points,meridian point,specific points,acupuncture and moxibustion,literature research,acupuncture and moxibustion therapy,point selection rules,clinical application,data mining,Yanglingquan(GB34),Juegu,Xuanzhong(GB39),acupuncture,etc.This paper summarizes and analyzes the combination application of“eight meeting points”in terms of combinstion of medicinals.The results show that in the modern clinical application the Danzhong(RN17)is the most frequrncy point to cure diseases,Zhangmen’s clinical combination frequency is the least,on the basis of that,we could put up a consideration whether the location of the point influences its using frequency.The modern clinical application of“eight meeting points”is similar to the ancient literatures.The combination of“eight meeting points”has a significant effect on gastritis、cervical spondylosis and other common diseases,its can also be used in difficult miscellaneous diseases like pesticide poisoning and incurable diseases like liver cancer other common diseases.Conclusion:1.Researchers have been paid more and more attention to the study of“eight meeting points”.The number of research literatures has been increasing by years,and institutions pay close attention to the therapy characteristics and clinical applications.The main research directions include eight meeting points,meridian points,specific points,acupuncture and moxibustion and so on.2.The combination of“eight meeting points”is extensive,and can be used for treatment of various diseases in various departments.It is frequently used in the treatment of chronic diseases,rehabilitation treatment and treatment disease before its onset.
