Meta-analysis Of The Clinical Curative Effect Of Xiaoyao Powder In The Treatment Of Chloasma

Objective: This study provides evidence-based medicine basis for clinical application of Xiaoyaosan in the treatment of chloasma through meta-analysis of literature on randomized controlled trials of Xiaoyaosan in the treatment of chloasma.Methods:Randomized controlled clinical trials of Xiaoyaosan in the treatment of chloasma were collected by searching electronic databases at home and abroad.Search time is set for each database until December 31,2018.The control group was treated with routine treatment,while the treatment group was treated with Xiaoyaosan alone or on the basis of routine treatment.Literature screening and data extraction were strictly based on inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria.Literatures included in systematic evaluation were evaluated for their quality.Revman 5.3 software was used to conduct meta-analysis of clinical efficacy,skin lesion score and adverse reactions.Results:A total of 13 articles were included in this study,including 1027 patients,530 in the experimental group and 497 in the control group.Meta analysis results show that:1.Clinical efficiency: Nine experimental groups were treated with Xiaoyao Powder.Meta analysis showed that [RR = 1.52,95% CI(1.35,1.70)],Z = 7.15,P < 0.00001.Meta analysis showed that RR = 1.71,95% CI(1.37,2.14)],Z = 4.77,P < 0.00001.It can be seen that the clinical efficacy of Xiaoyaosan alone or in combination in the treatment of chloasma is better than that of the conventional treatment group.2.Skin lesion score: There were two experimental groups of combined application of Xiaoyaosan.Meta analysis showed that [MD=-0.64,95% CI(-0.98,-0.30)],Z=3.66,P < 0.01.One study group was treated with Xiaoyaosan alone.Meta-analysis showed that there was no significant difference in MD =-0.44,95% CI(-1.06,0.18)],Z = 1.40,P > 0.05.It can be seen that the skin lesion score of the combined application of Xiaoyaosan in the treatment of chloasma is lower than that of the conventional treatment control group.3.The effective time and cure time: Xiaoyaosan can shorten the effective time of patients and promote the cure of diseases(P < 0.05).4.The incidence of adverse reactions: RR = 0.59,95% CI [0.37,0.93],Z = 2.25,P = 0.02,the difference was statistically significant.The combined effects of each study were located on the left side of the ineffective vertical line,indicating that Xiaoyaosan had advantages in the treatment of chloasma.Conclusion : 1.Compared with routine treatment,Xiaoyaosan has the following advantages: high clinical efficiency,good skin lesion improvement effect,short effective time and cure time,low incidence of adverse reactions.2.Because the number of literatures included in this study is small and the quality is generally not high,the above results still need more high-quality,large samples of RCT to further confirm.
