Purpose: Through the investigation of TCM syndromes and related factors among the elderly and young patients with cognitive dysfunction(MCI)in Shenyang,the distribution of TCM syndromes in MCI patients in this area was initially explored.At the same time,according to the statistical investigation results of relevant factors,further explore the relationship between MCI TCM syndrome distribution and related factors,and provide certain guidance for the treatment and protection of TCM syndrome differentiation.Material and method: Collected from June 2016 to June 2017 from Shenyang City 2Grade III A comprehensive hospitals(Liaoning University Affiliated Hospital of Chinese Medicine,Northern War District General Hospital)and 6 Shenyang City Old Age Care Centers(Shenyang Huanggu District Tawen New Home Home Nursing Home,Shenyang Nursing Home,Shenyang Yuhong District Center Nursing Home,Shenyang Sujiatun District Social Welfare Home,Shenyang City Hezhong Younian Pension Community,Shenyang Daxiang District Aida Aged Apartment),according to 325 cases included in the standard case questionnaire,and according to the standard classification of TCM syndrome differentiation,to explore the composition and related factors of the distribution of elderly MCI patients in the region,and further analyze the distribution of syndrome and its relationship with related factors.Results:1.Of the 325 MCI patients included in this study,170 were males,accounting for 52.31 % of the total,and 155 were females,accounting for 47.69 % of the total;Among the various age groups,there are 63 cases between 60 and 69 years old,accounting for 19.38 % of the total,67 cases between 70 and 79 years old,accounting for 20.62 % of the total,and 195 cases over80 years old,accounting for 60.00 % of the total.2.The distribution of TCM syndrome in elderly MCI patients in Shenyang was 156cases(48.00 %),68 cases(20.92 %),40 cases(12.31 %),33 cases(10.15 %),and 28cases(8.62 %).3.Distribution of elderly MCI patients in Shenyang by gender,age,drinking,physical exercise,skeletal and musculoskeletal diseases,nutritional status and other factors in different types of TCM syndrome(P< 0.05)has statistical significance.Conclusion:1.Among the elderly patients with MCI in Shenyang,the distribution of TCM syndrome from high to low is the renal essence deficiency syndrome,the phlegm turbid obstruction syndrome,the liver and Yang syndrome,the blood stasis blocking brain syndrome,and the Qi and blood deficiency syndrome.2.Among the elderly MCI patients in Shenyang,the distribution of TCM syndrome was related to gender,age,physical exercise,drinking alcohol,nutritional status and other factors.
