Meta Analysis Of Hashimoto's Thyroiditis Based On Liver And Spleen Differentiation And Treatment

Purpose:To analyze clinical trials of combination of TCM and western medicine treatments which are dialectically treated from liver and spleen in Hashimoto thyroiditis by Meta-analysis,in order to evaluate the clinical efficacy of treatments which combine TCM medicine and western one in treating hyperthyroidism.We can value the clinical efficacy by effective rate and laboratory index including the situation of thyroid function and the situation of Thyroid antibody.Material and method:To retrieve literature of the combined treatment of Hashimoto’s thyroiditis in 2007-2017 by using computer database.After eliminating the repeating literature,identify the documents which are included in the Meta-analysis according to inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria.Evaluate the quality of the literature documents included according to the Cochrane handbook 5.0.Use Revman5.3 software to analyze the literature documents included.Results:There are seventeen literature documents included in this Meta-analysis.In terms of clinical efficacy,the results of Meta-analysis which compares dialectical treatmeant from liver and spleen and western one in treating hyperthyroidism are: FT3: SMD=0.92,95%Cl is(0.36,1.48),Z=3.82,P=0.001(<0.05).FT4: SMD=1.66,95%Cl is(0.83,2.49),Z=3.91,P<0.0001(<0.05).TSH: SMD=-0.95,95%Cl is(-1.45,-0.45),Z=3.75,P=0.0002(<0.05).TGAb: SMD=-1.54,95%Cl is(-2.10,-0.99),Z=5.43,P<0.00001(<0.05).TPOAb: SMD=-1.92,95%Cl is(-2.26,-1.24),Z=5.50,P<0.00001(<0.05).Effective rate: OR=6.73,95%CI is(4.72,9.60),Z=10.53,P<0.00001(<0.05).All of those results are statistically significant.Conclusion:The dialectical treatment from liver and spleen in treating Hashimoto thyroiditis has obvious advantages compared with western medicine treatment.This Meta-analysis compare the combination of TCM with western medicine treatment of Hashimoto thyroiditis in terms of curative effect,thyroid function and Thyroid antibody.The curative effect of dialectical treatment of combination of TCM is better than the western one.
