Purpose:To investigate the effect of emotional factors on plasma NPY(neuropeptide Y),CST(catechol),and 5-HTR4(5-hydroxytryptamine receptor 4)in elderly patients with atrial fibrillation and depression, and to analyze The relationship between emotional factors and the changes of clinical conditions in elderly patients with atrial fibrillation.Material and method:A total of 188 subjects were eligible for the diagnosis of atrial fibrillation. They were elderly patients with permanent atrial fibrillation who were treated in Liao TCM endocardial ward and outpatient clinic between January 2012 and December 2014.There were 90 males and 98 females, aged 60-89 years, with an average of 74.26±8.42 years old.According to their age, they were divided into three groups: 60-69 years old(A)31 patients;70-79 years old(B)34 patients;80-89 years old(C)32 patients;control group(D)without AF Group 91 cases, which are divided into D1 group of 30 cases: age 60 to 69 years old,D2 group 31 cases: age 70 to 79 years old,D3 group 30 cases: age 80 to 89 years old;A,B,C three groups are merged There were depressive disorders.A total of 96 patients were divided into three groups: 34 patients with mild depression,33 patients with moderate depression, and 30 patients with severe depression.Depression scores were obtained through the Zung Depression Self-Rating Questionnaire. The contents of plasma neuropeptide Y(NPY),serotonin receptor 4(5-HTR4)and catecholatin(CST)in patients were determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA),and were mainly related to clinical TCM in patients.Symptoms were quantified and scored to analyze the effect of emotional factors on elderly atrial fibrillation. Results: 1.Compared with the control group(D1,D2,D3)of each age group, the content of NPY in each group decreased, and the content of NPY in groups B and C decreased significantly(P<0.05).2.Compared with the control group of each age group, the CST content in each group increased, and the A group increased significantly compared with the D1 group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).3.Compared with the control group of each age group, the content of 5-HTR4 in each group was increased, and the increase of A-group was significantly higher than that of D1 group(P<0.05).4.A,B,C three groups and their respective age group control group, each symptom score was significantly higher, with statistically significant differences(P <0.05).5.Compared with the control group(D),the levels of NPY in the light, moderate, and severe groups were significantly decreased, with statistical significance(P<0.05).6.Compared with the control group(D),the levels of CST in the mild, moderate, and severe groups all increased, and the CST levels in the moderate and severe groups increased significantly(P<0.05).7.Compared with the control group(D),the levels of 5-HTR4 in the light, moderate, and severe groups were all significantly increased(P<0.05).Conclusion: 1.The elderly patients with permanent atrial fibrillation complicated with depressive symptoms when the clinical symptoms of Chinese medicine change more obvious, especially annoyance, insomnia and other mental symptoms prominent, suggesting that abnormal symptoms such as upset, insomnia, etc.to assess the elderly patients with permanent atrial fibrillation The size of the risk of a depressive psychological problem.2.Abnormal changes of NPY,CST,and 5-HTR4 have a good guiding value for assessing the severity of depression in elderly patients with permanent atrial fibrillation.3.Excessive changes in plasma levels of NPY,CST,and 5-HTR4 in elderly patients with permanent atrial fibrillation will increase the risk of depression in the patient. In turn, elderly permanent atrial fibrillation combined with depression may affect and affect the body's NPY,5-Abnormal changes in HTR4,CST.4.The three indicators of NPY,CST,and 5-HTR4 can reflect the effect of depression on elderly patients with permanent atrial fibrillation at different ages.
