Relationship Between Catestatin,Atrial Natriuretic Peptide,Brain Natriuretic Peptide And Left Ventricular Hypertrophy In Hyperpietic And Therapeutic Effects Of Perindopril

ObjectiveThis study was designed to investigate the changes of plasma catestatin, atrial natriuretic peptide(ANP) and brain natriuretic peptide (BNP) patients with eseential hypertension,and explore their mechanism in hypertension.MethodsPatients with essential hypertension(n=68) were divided into two groups:LVH group(n=28) and NLVH group(40),and30healthy subjects enrolled as normal control group on the basis of echocardiography.All subjects in this study underwent echocardiography for getting indexes about hearts, Tinterventricular septal thickness(IVS), left ventricular posterior wall thickness(LVPWT),left ventricular diastolic dimension (LVDD) and so on,and their levels of plasma catestatin,ANP and BNP were measured by ELISA.Above indexes were measured again after two months treatment of perindopril. Results1The levels of plasma catestatin,ANP and BNP in hyperpietic group increased significantly(p<0.05), compared with NLVH group,the levels of plasma catestatin,ANP and BNP in LVH group were all significantly higher(p<0.05).2Linear correlation analysis showed there was positive correlation between catestatin andANP,BNP,SBP,DBP,MAP,LVMI.And multiple linear regression analysis showed catestatin,ANP and BNP were indepe-ndent related indicators with LVMI.3After eight weeks treatment of perindopril,the levels of plasma catestatin,ANP and BNP were significantly decreased in patients with essential hypertension(p<0.05),and LVMI in LVH group and NLVH group were not significantly lower(p>0.05).Conclusion1Catestatin may be an index of blood pressure severity in hyperpietic,and an independent predictor of essential hypertension and left ventricular hypertrophy.2There is positive correlation between catestatin and ANP,BNP.3Perindopril decrease the level of plasma catestatin as well as blood pressure.
