| Purpose: Collection of clinical data of patients with breast cancer associated with thyroid disease,to understand the distribution of TCM syndromes in breast cancer patients with thyroid disease, the difference of TCM syndromes of breast cancer with thyroid disease and normal thyroid was further compared and to explore whether thyroid disease affects the distribution of TCM syndromes of breast cancer; To investigate the incidence of thyroid disease in breast cancer patients, and to study the postoperative histology, pathology and immunohistochemistry of patients with thyroid disease,to explore the relationship between clinicopathological features of breast cancer and thyroid diseases.Method:From January 2016 to May 2017,105 patients with breast cancer were admitted to the Department of Oncology, affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of traditional Chinese Medicine.61 patients with thyroid disease were found. The distribution of TCM syndromes of breast cancer patients with thyroid disease and breast cancer patients without thyroid disease and the quantitative value of each symptom grade were statistically analyzed. To collect thyroid hormone levels, thyroid ultrasound, postoperative pathology, immunohistochemistry and the incidence of thyroid disease in all patients,it is statistically significant to compare the pathological features of breast cancer patients with thyroid disease and the difference between breast cancer patients with normal thyroid function and breast cancer patients with thyroid disease. Results:There was no significant difference in the distribution of TCM syndrome types between the two groups of the breast cancer group with thyroid disease and the breast cancer group without thyroid disease(P > 0.05).There were 61 cases of breast cancer complicated with thyroid disease and its incidence was 58%,the incidence of thyroid nodule was66%.Compared with breast cancer patients without thyroid disease, high expression rate of Her-2 and Ki-67>30% in breast cancer patients with thyroid disease, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in estrogen receptor, progesterone receptor and histopathologic type between the two groups(P > 0.05).Conclusion:Thyroid diseases have no significant effect on the distribution of TCMsyndromes in patients with breast cancer. The incidence of thyroid disease in breast cancer patients was higher than that in normal subjects, mainly in women over 45 years of age.Pathological changes of thyroid gland in breast cancer patients and breast cancer may be associated with autoimmune thyroid disease. The prognosis of breast cancer with thyroid disease may be poor, further follow-up is needed to determine whether thyroid disease is a prognostic factor in breast cancer patients.Breast cancer is associated with thyroid disease. |
