Purpose:To summarize and analyze the TCM syndromes characteristics of 548 cases hospitalized patients who treated with short term continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion(CSII).To investigate whether there are differences between different TCM syndromes in subsequent hypoglycemic programs.Material and method:Collected and compiled 548 cases of type 2 diabetes patients in Department of Endocrinology from July 2016 to February 2017 of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, including general demographic data, physical and chemical indicators and the composition of Chinese medicine decoction.Analyze the proportions of different TCM syndromes.According to the selection of subsequent programs of CSII,the patients were divided into 4 groups. The single factor analysis of variance(ANOVA)and other test methods were used to compare whether there are any differences between the general conditions and objective physical and chemical indexes in different TCM syndromes?Results:1.The differences between different group in general situation In terms of age, compared with the 2-needle group, the 0-needle group,1-needle group and 4-needle group had statistical significance differences in age.The shortest duration was0-needle group(4.49 ± 5.48 years),and was statistically significant compared with the other groups, followed by the 1-needle group, the 4-needle group, the 2-needle group. The average BMI in 0-needle group was 26.74 ± 3.98,which was statistically significant compared with group 1,2 and 4;the average WC of 0-needle group was 93.11±10.47 cm and compared with the other three groups were statistically significant.2.The differences between different group in physical and chemical indicators The mean HbA1 c in the 0-needle group was 9.18 ± 1.84,lower than the other groups and statistically significant compared with the other three groups(P <0.01).There was also a significant difference between the 2-needle group and the 1 and 4-needle groups.Compared with 2-and 4-needle groups,C-peptide of 0-needle group was statistically significant at 0min,60 min and 120 min. There was statistical significance between 1-needle group and 4-needle group at 0min,60 min and 120 min.But blood fat and thyroid function showed no significant statistical significance between the groups.3.CSII follow-up treatment and TCM syndrome distribution TCM syndromes of T2 DM patients and follow-up treatment programs by R×C test, the difference was statistically significant. The syndrome distribution of 0 and 1-needle group are both qi and yin deficiency syndrome and damp-heat trapped spleen type; The syndrome distribution of 2-needle group is mainly fire excess from Yin deficiency type; The syndrome distribution of 4-needle group is mainly deficiency of both yin and yang type. Conclusion:The syndrome distribution of 0 and 1-needle group are both qi and yin deficiency syndrome and liver and stomach gloomy heat type; The syndrome distribution of 2-needle group is mainly fire excess from Yin deficiency type; The syndrome distribution of 4-needle group is mainly deficiency of both yin and yang type.
