Clinical Observation Of Modified Dian Kuang Meng Xing Decoction In The Treatment Of Senile Insomnia With Phlegm And Blood Stasis Syndrome

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Modified Diankuang Mengxing Decoction in treating patients with insomnia of syndrome of phlegm and blood stasis.Methods: All 60 elderly insomnia patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into treatment group and control group according to the principle of parallel control,treatment group and control group of 30 cases.The treatment group took Modified Diankuang Mengxing Decoction,the control group took Estazolam Tablets,two groups were treated for 4 weeks.we observed symptoms of TCM syndrome,the changes of scores of pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI).During the course of treatment and follow-up,the adverse reactions and safety of medication in the treatment group and the control group were continuously concerned.Results:The TCM syndrome total score after treatment of the treatment group of patients(6.13±2.26)was significantly lower than the control group(11.40±2.99)(P<0.05);The total efficiency of the treatment group 93.33% was higher than the control group 83.33%;The PSQI score after treatment of the treatment group of patients(4.97±1.96)was significantly lower than the control group(7.67±2.02),the differences between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).These two groups of patients had no significant adverse effect during this trial.Conclusion: The therapeutic effect of Modified Diankuang Mengxing Decoction on phlegm and blood stasis type in elderly patients is more significant,which can more effectively improve the sleep quality of elderly patients,and is safe and reliable,so it has the value of clinical popularization and application.
