A Clinical Study On Acupoint Application In The Treatment Of Moderate To Severe Periodic Milk Pain

Objective:The research by the means of Ding Tong Gao combine with Zi Se Xiao Zhong Gao at the acupoint application to treat moderate to severe cyclic mastalgia,observed its clinical effect in terms of the McGill Pain Questionnaire(SF-MPQ)?signs and symptoms consistent with mammary gland?systemic symptoms of TCM?clinical effect of mammary gland color ultrasound,summarized its clinical effectiveness,investigate the effects and mechanism of this method,and gave a prelimia ry evaluation of its safety.Methods:The case study was performed on 60 patients with moderate to severe cyclic mastalgia selected from breast outpatient of Beijing's Capital Medical University Traditional chinese medicine.60 patients were grouped randomly to the treatment group and the placebo group.with 30 patients each.Treatment group use Ding Tong Gao combine with Zi Se Xiao Zhong Gao at the acupoint application,once a day,acupoint application for 6-8hours,14 days for 1 course of treatments and complete therapy within one month.the control group was treated by acupoint application of placebo,the time and course was identical with the treatment group.Reasearch results:60 patients with moderate to severe cyclic mastalgia were initially inducted into this study,while subsequently 2 cases withdrew from the study,there was 28 patients in the treatment group and 30 patients in the placebo group.In the evaluation of the curative effect of the main observation indexes:The treatment group has obvious effects in ruducing the total score of pain sensation(S).?the Pain total score(T)?the Total number of sensory words selected?theVisual Analogue Scale/Score?the current pain intensity(PPI)?the pain type,with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).results comparing with the placebo group had no significant diffe rences in improving emotional score(A)(P>0.05).the improvement of breast pain degree?breast tenderness degree?mass size and mass texture in the treatment group(ITT/PPS)was better than that in the placebo control group(ITT/PPS),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the treatment group(ITT)and the placebo control group(ITT/PPS)in improving the distribution of the mass(P>0.05).Compared with the improvement rate of signs and symptoms consistent with mammary gland in the two groups,the treatment group(ITT)saw a 23.3%rate of marked effective and 43.3%rate of effective rate,10.0%clinical cure rate and 76.7%rate of the total effective rate.the treatment group(PPS)saw a 25.0%rate of marked effective and 46.4%rate of effective rate,10.7%clinical cure rate and 82.1%rate of the total effective treatments.The placebo group(ITT/PPS)saw a 3.3%rate of marked effective and 60.0%rate of effective rate,0%clinical cure rate and 63.3%rate of the total effective treatments.Both the marked effective effective rate and the total effective rate in the treatment group are better than the placebo group,and there was statistical significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).In the evaluation of the curative effect of the secondary observation indexes:the treatment group(ITT/PPS)has obvious effects in improving the comprehensive score of systemic s.ymptoms of TCM,the comprehensive cu rative effect index of systemic symptoms of TCM,emotion,sleep,bilateral rib fullness was superior to the placebo group(ITT/PPS)(P<0.05).In improving breast ultrasound imaging score,mammary gland thickness,ductal diameter,two groups(ITT/PPS)showed similar results(P>0.05).Conclusion:Ding Tong Gao combine with Zi Se Xiao Zhong Gao has the effect of Tongluo Zhi Tong(Regulating Qi and Removing Obstructions in the collaterals)and has obvious curative effect in reducing the Total number of sensory words selected?alleviating breast pain?mass size and mass texture etc.ln reducing emotional score(A),two groups showed similar results(P>0.05)?Ding Tong Gao combine with Zi Se Xiao Zhong Gao at the acupoint application provides a new choice for the treatment of breast pain patients,and has a wide range of clinical application prospects.
