significance to systematically study the understanding of TCM on Infantile malnutrition.MethodsIn the long history of TCM,doctors have accumulated rich theoretical and practical experience through clinical practice,and have created many effective treatments and prescriptions.By using the traditional literatures searching method,based on the systematic literatures collected before the Qing Dynasty,the generations of physicians that understanding the Infantile malnutrition can be divided into 5 historical stages according to the outline of the dynasty and the corresponding literatures,expounds the academic development of the Infantile malnutrition in different period,discusses the progress of TCM theory,and reveals the original and development of Infantile malnutrition.ResultsThe results can be separated into two parts.The first part,as the main body,the development of Infantile malnutrition is according to the vicissitude of dynasties,and it is divided into 5 historical stages,they are pre-Qin to the three Kingdoms Periods,Jin to Tang Dynasty,Song,Jin and Yuan Dynasty,Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty.Introducing the characteristic of TCM
