| Objective:Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)can treat premature ventricular beats and relieve clinical symptoms clearly.And at the same time it doesn’t affect the heart rate.My tutor professor Yao Kuiwu is a traditional Chinese medicine doctor.He think,in modern life,people often stay up late because of the stress of life.This kind of people often feels palpitation because of insufficiency of heart yin.For this pathogenesis,Dr.Yao made chinese medicinal formulae named Yangyin Djingji Granule to treat premature ventricular beat(PVB),and this TCM have better curative effect.This study usedYangyin Dingji granule to treat PVB(heart yin asthenia syndrome),and observed multiple indicators objective to evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety.This research aims at establishing foundation for the further promotion.Method:All the 25 patients were selected from my mentor’s outpatient clinic.Each of them meets the diagnosis of premature ventricular beat and palpitations,heart Yin deficiency.Patients were asked to write questionnaire of my research before the study begin and after they take 6 weeks of Yangyin Dingji Granule,and I calculate their score.After treatment,I evaluated the efficacy and safety of Yangyin Dingji Granule.Efficacy indicators inculde:the variety of TCM integral,the total mumber of premature ventricular beat,HRV indexes,Myerburg guading standards.Safety indicators:ALT,AST,ALP,Cr and BUN.Result:1.The total efficient in improving the symptoms of heart Yin deficiency is 84%(P<0.01).And Yangyin Dingji Granule is very effective in treating palpitation,the feeling of agitation,dry mouth,ahortness of breath and fatigue,night sweat,insomina and dreamful.(P<0.01)2.The number of premature ventricular beat was significantly decreased,and the total effective rate was 64%in combination with Myerburg classification.The efficient of treatment in ventricular premature beats number is 60%,and 60%patients were decreased in Myerburg grading standards after study.The mean heart rate didn’t be influenced(P>0.05).Those 3 indexes of HRV:SDNN was significantly inproved after treatmet(P<0.01).However,There was no statistical difference in rMSSD and PNN50(P>0.05).4.There was no statistical difference in the safety indicators such as liver function and kidney function(P>0.05),and no adverse events occurred during the treatment.5.The Yangyin Dingji Granule adding high dosage of Yin tonifying herbs to treat PVB is better than routine dose.This inference needs study to be strengthened further.Conclusion:The effect of Yangyin Dingji Granule on premature ventricular beat and palpitations with heart Yin deficiency is effective.It can inprove clinical symptoms,reduce the number of premature ventricular beats,inprove heart rate variability,reduce the Myerburg guading standard.Differences between renal function renal and liver function didn’t have a statistical significance,which means Yangyin Dingji Granule can treat premature ventricular beat,inprove the living standard and safety,which is worth further research and clinical promotion. |
