Objective: To observe the clinical curative effect of acupuncture on pulmonary infection after brain injury. Methods: Sixty patients with pulmonary infection after traumatic brain injury were randomly divided into control group and treatment group, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was given conventional medication and nursing, such as oxygen inhalation, atomization inhalation, selection of sensitive antibiotics for anti-infection treatment, strengthening nutritional support, turning over and tapping back to expel phlegm and other symptomatic support treatment. On the basis of the control group, the treatment group was additionally treated with acupuncture.Bilateral Feishu points,Pishu points and Shenshu points were selected, and Pingbu Pingxie method was applied, while the needle was not retained.Bilateral Zusanli(ST 36)and Fenglong(ST 36)points were treated with the method of calming, tonifying, calming and purging, and the needle was retained for 30 min.Acupuncture was performed once a day for 14 days. The two groups of patients were given sputum suction in time every day,and the sputum was put into a container to count the amount of sputum discharged for24 hours. On the 1st day of treatment and the 14 th day of treatment,WBC,CRP,body temperature(?),blood oxygen saturation(refers to pulse oxygen)and sputum property index statistics were carried out for the two groups of patients respectively. The 24-hour sputum output of the two groups of patients on the 1st day of treatment, the 7th day of treatment and the 14 th day of treatment were compared, and the clinical efficacy of the two groups was finally compared.Results:1.comparison of blood WBC and CRP values:both groups can reduce blood WBC and CRP values(P<0.05)after treatment for 1d and 14 d,with statistically significant difference, indicating that both groups are effective.after 14 days of treatment, after statistical treatment,(P<0.05),the WBC and CRP values in the treatment group decreased more significantly than those in the control group.2.Comparison of body temperature(?)and blood oxygen saturation:(1)body temperature(?)comparison: the body temperature of the two groups can be reduced after treatment for 1d and 14d(P<0.05),the difference is statistically significant, indicating that both groups are effective. After 14 days of treatment, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P>0.05),which showed that there was no significant difference in temperature drop between the two groups.(2)blood oxygen saturation comparison: the blood oxygen saturation content of the two groups was significantly increased(P<0.05)on the 1st day after treatment and14 days after treatment, and the difference was statistically significant. After 14 days of treatment, the blood oxygen saturation in the treatment group was significantly higher than that in the control group after statistical treatment(P<0.05).comparison of blood oxygen saturation: after treatment, the content of blood oxygen saturation in the two groups was significantly increased compared with that before treatment, and the difference before and after treatment was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05).After 14 days of treatment, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the sputum properties in the treatment group were improved more significantly than those in the control group.3.sputum properties index statistics and 24 h sputum output comparison:(1)sputum property classification comparison: the comparison between the control group on the 1st day of treatment and the 14 th day of treatment was not statistically significant(P>0.05),while the comparison between the treatment group on the 1st day of treatment and the 14 th day of treatment was statistically significant(P<0.05).(2)24-hour sputum excretion comparison: both groups can change the 24-hour sputum excretion of patients.the comparison between the 1st day of treatment and the7 th day of treatment within the group(P<0.05)shows that the 24-hour sputum excretion of patients after the 7th day of treatment is significantly increased. The intra-group comparison after 7 days of treatment and 14 days of treatment(P<0.05)shows that the amount of sputum discharged in 24 hours after 14 days of treatment is significantly reduced. After 7 days of treatment, there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05),indicating that there was no difference between the two groups.Compared with the control group after 14 days of treatment(P<0.05),the change of 24 sputum excretion in the treatment group is more significant than that in the control group.4.Comparison of total effective rate: The total effective rate of acupuncture treatment group is 92.8%,while that of control group is 67.8%.The difference between the two groups is statistically significant(P>0.05),which indicates that acupuncture assisted therapy has a significant effect.5.No obvious adverse reactions occurred in the two groups during the treatment.Conclusion:1.Acupuncture can significantly reduce the inflammatory indexes(WBC,CRP)of patients with pulmonary infection after brain injury, and the effect is better than that of the control group.2.Acupuncture can obviously improve the ventilation of patients and increase the blood oxygen saturation of patients.3.Acupuncture can improve the sputum properties of patients with pulmonary infection after brain injury, and promote and control the changes of sputum excretion in 24 hours.4.Acupuncture can assist in the treatment of pulmonary infection after traumatic brain injury, which related to acupuncture improving sputum properties of patients, promoting and controlling 24-hour sputum excretion of patients, and improving ventilation status of patients.
