Objective:Taking the classic prescriptions for treating depression in ancient Chinese and Mongolian medicine as the entry point,collecting,screening,summarizing and sorting out the prescriptions of Chinese and Mongolian medicine for treating depression,analyzing the frequency,application and compatibility of prescriptions;and to make a comparative study of them,to sort out the characteristics of commonness and heterosexuality,and to put forward suggestions for the application and compatibility of the prescriptions for depression prevention and treatment.Methods:This study used computer search and manual screening to collect,screen,sort out and summarize the prescriptions for prevention and treatment of depression.Using literature research,statistical analysis and data mining techniques,and comparative research methods to analyze the etiology,pathogenesis,syndromes and treatment of depression in Chinese medicine and Mongolian medicine,and explores the frequency,application and compatibility of prescriptions for depression treatment,and sort out their common and heterosexual characteristics.Results:Chinese medicine believes that depression is caused by emotional failure and Qi stagnation.The disease is mainly in the liver,involving heart,spleen,kidney and other organs.Symptoms are similar to Yuzheng,Baihebing,Dianzheng,Zangzao,Meiheqi,and Bentun.Treatment mainly includes liver,heart,spleen and stomach,lung,kidney,phlegm and deficiency.This study included 69 TCM prescriptions,totaling 206 flavors of medicines;involving 20 categories of medicines,mainly for tonics and Qi-Regulating drugs,compatible with blood-activating and stasis-removing drugs,heat-clearing drugs,aromatic dampness-removing drugs,water-diffusing and dampness-removing drugs,antipsychotic drugs,purgative drugs and so on;high-frequency medicines such as rhizoma cyperi,radix paeoniae alba,glycyrrhizae radix,radix bupleuri and so on;warm medicines accounted for the highest proportion;bitter,bitter and sweet flavors were the main The frequency of meridian attribution is the highest in the spleen meridian and liver meridian;the most commonly used combination of two herbs is the compatibility of blood-nourishing drugs with Qi-Regulating drugs,Qi-Regulating drugs with Qi-Tonifying drugs,and Qi-Regulating drugs.The five groups with the highest frequency are radix paeoniae alba-radix bupleuri,radix paeoniae alba-glycyrrhizae radix,rhizoma cyperi-Chuanxiong,radix paeoniae alba-Angelica,and rhizoma cyperi-radix paeoniae alba.Mongolian medicine holds that the core pathogenesis of depression is Heyi hyperactivity,and the main location is the heart and brain.Its clinical manifestations are similar to those of Heyi agitation,main vein Heyi disease,hysteria and Heyi madness.The treatment is based on regulating Hey,balancing the three roots and promoting white pulse conduction.The treatment is mainly based on regulating Heyi theory and regulating heart and brain theory.This study included the first 48 prescriptions of Mongolian medicine,totaling 114 flavors of drugs;involving 16 categories of drugs,mainly ZhenHeyi drugs,compatible with Qubadagan drugs,antipyretic drugs,etc;high-frequency drugs include nutmeg,Pistacia chinensis,nutmeg,aloes and so on;medicinal properties are mainly warm;medicinal flavor is the most frequently used;medicinal efficacy is greasy,heavy,dry,light;the most commonly used combination of two flavors is among the compatibility of ZhenHeyi drugs,the most frequent pairs were nutmeg-aloes,nutmeg-white nutmeg,nutmeg-wood incense,nutmeg-broad jujube,nutmeg-hibiscus,nutmeg-clove.Conclusions:Both Chinese and Mongolian medicine believe that emotional factors are one of the causes of depression,and that the heart is one of the causes of depression.Chinese medicine believes that the pathogenesis of depression is emotional failure and stagnation of qi,and symptoms are similar to Yuzheng,Baihebing,Dianzheng,Zangzao,Meiheqi,and Bentun.Treatment mainly includes liver,heart,spleen and stomach,lung,kidney,phlegm and deficiency.Mongolian medicine holds that the core pathogenesis of depression is Heyi hyperactivity,and its clinical manifestations are similar to those of Heyi agitation,main vein Heyi disease,hysteria and Heyi madness.Mongolian medicine mainly regulates Heyi treatment and heart and brain treatment.The prescription compatibility of Chinese and Mongolian medicine for depression is mainly based on the overall regulation and the traditional Xinwen medicine;the Chinese medicine is mainly composed of Qi-regulating drugs and tonic drugs.The commonly used medicines are rhizoma cy peri,radix paeoniae alba,glycyrrhizae radix,radix bupleuri,etc.The commonly used medicines are radix paeoniae alba-radix bupleuri,radix paeoniae alba-glycyrrhizae radix,rhizoma cyperi-Chuanxiong,radix paeoniae alba-Angelica,and rhizoma cyperi-radix paeoniae alba,etc.the Mongolian medicine is mainly composed of ZhenHeyi drugs,The commonly used medicines are nutmeg-aloes,nutmeg-white nutmeg,nutmeg-aucklandia,nutmeg-jujube,nutmeg-hibiscus,nutmeg-clove and so on.The high-frequency drugs commonly used by Chinese and Mongolian medicine are Aucklandia,Alpinia and Nutmeg.The use of cold medicine in traditional Chinese medicine is higher than that of Mongolian medicine,while the use of cool medicine and heat medicine is lower than that of Mongolian medicine,and the use of astringent and salty medicine in Mongolian medicine is higher than that of traditional Chinese medicine.Traditional Chinese medicine can draw lessons from the theory of treating depression from brain and pharmacodynamics of Mongolian medicine.Mongolian medicine can draw lessons from the theory of treating liver,spleen,kidney and other viscera of traditional Chinese medicine and the theory of attribution of traditional Chinese medicine.
