Clinical Study On The Effect Of Jiawei Shenlingbaizhu Powder On The Immune Function Of AECOPD Patients

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of the traditional Chinese medicine compound modified SHENLINGBAIZHU powder on AECOPD patients,and its influence on some immunological indexes,and to evaluate its safety,in order to improve clinical symptoms,reduce the hospitalization time and improve the life quality of patients.Methods:To select 60 patients with AECOPD hospitalized subjects accord with test conditions,using random number table method,were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,each group had 30 cases.The control group was treated with conventional western medicine only,the treatment group was treated with modified SHENLINGBAIZHU powder on the basis of routine treatment of western medicine.The two groups were treated for 14 days and followed up for 3 months.Record the changes of the symptoms and signs scores,the infection index,the index of blood gas analysis,immune index,lung function and CAT scores of each group before and after treatment for 7 days and 14 days,and record the lung function and CAT scores change after 1month,and record the CAT scores change and re-hospitalization after 3 month,and observe the untoward of the two groups during the treatment process.SPSS21.0 statistical software was used for statistical analysis to evaluate its clinical efficacy and safety.Results:?1?Baseline comparison:Comparison of the two groups,the baseline balanced?P>0.05?.?2?The clinical efficacy:14 days after treatment,the treatment group was 76.67%,the control group was 40%,the treatment group was better than the control group?P<0.01?.?3?Symptoms and signs:The two groups could significantly improve the patients'cough,sputum,wheezing,shortness of breath,abdominal distension,poor appetite,abnormal stool?P<0.01?,but the treatment group in improving the sputum,wheezing,shortness of breath,abdominal distension,poor appetite,abnormal stool better than the control group?P<0.05?.?4?The traditional Chinese syndrome scores:The two groups could significantly improve the traditional Chinese syndrome scores?P<0.01?,but the treatment group in improving the traditional Chinese syndrome scores were better than the control group?P<0.05?.?5?The immune index:In the aspects of cellular immunity,the two groups could significantly improve the Th,Th/Ts,B lymphocytes,and reduce Ts?P<0.01?,while the total T lymphocytes did not change before treatment?P>0.05?.The treatment group was superior to the control group in improving Th,Ts,Th/Ts and B lymphocytes?P>0.05?.In the aspects of humoral immunity,the two groups could significantly improve the IgG,IgA,IgM,and reduce C3,C4?P<0.01?,the treatment group improved IgG,IgM,C3,C4 better than the control group?P<0.05?,while the role of both groups in improving IgA is comparable?P>0.05?.?6?The infection index:The two groups can reduce the infection index?P<0.01?,and the effect is quite?P>0.05?.?7?The index of blood gas analysis:The two groups were able to improve the patients'PaO₂?P<0.05?,and the effect is quite?P>0.05?,the two groups were no significant improvement in Pa CO₂ compared with before treatment?P>0.05?,and the effect is quite?P>0.05?.?8?The lung function:After 1 month treatment,the two groups could significantly improve the FEV₁%pred of the patients?P<0.01?.After treatment,the treatment group could improve the patients'FEV₁/FVC?P<0.05?,there was no significant improvement in FEV₁/FVC compared with before treatment in the control group?P>0.05?.The treatment group in improving the FEV₁%pre,FEV₁/FVC was better than the control group?P<0.05?.?9?COPD Assessment Test?CAT?scores:After 3 month treatment,the two groups could significantly reduce the CAT scores?P<0.01?,and the treatment group in the improvement of the CAT scores were better than the control group?P<0.05?.?10?Re-hospitalization rate within 3 months:Comparison of the two groups,the results are quite?P>0.05?.?11?Security analysis:There were no serious adverse events in the two groups.Conclusions:AECOPD patients have immune dysfunction,the traditional Chinese medicine compound modified SHENLINGBAIZHU powder can improve the immune function of AECOPD patients,improve the body's resistance to disease,reduce the frequency of hospitalization,improve the quality of life of patients,and no adverse events have occurred.
