With the continuous enhancement of China’s overall national strength and the accelerating pace of globalization,especially after joining the World Trade Organization,China’s degree of opening to the outside world has become increasingly high.Through rapid and convenient modern transportation,international exchanges and cross-border travel have become more frequent.The total rate of entry and exit personnel in China has increased at an annual rate of more than 10%.At the same time,with the development of international exchanges and cross-border travel,more and more The country has become a destination for the Chinese people to travel.This has made the task of monitoring infectious diseases and controlling infectious diseases in China’s frontier ports even more onerous.Many diseases have become increasingly difficult to control,and the epidemic of the international epidemic has become increasingly severe,especially in recent years.The situation of high prevalence and popularity has increased difficulty in monitoring and prevention and control.At present,the state attaches great importance to the lives and health of the people,and has put forward many comprehensive health concepts such as Healthy China 2030 and the health industry.The people’s demand for international travel health and safety is also increasing.With the new international quarantine environment and the reform of domestic inspection and quarantine institutions,the demand for frontier health and quarantine continues to increase,and the pressure for survival and development of international travel health care centers continues to increase.The current functions of the health centers are no longer fulfilled,so the functional optimization potential Imperative.This article takes the optimization of the functional structure of Shandong International Travel Health Center as the research object.Through the SWOT of the development of the health center,we find out the existing problems in the fulfillment of the functions of the health center.For example,the concept of public service is not strong,and the ideology is still “Localization”,imperfect quality management system,lack of risk management,and lack of market competitiveness,etc.Put forward corresponding function optimization suggestions: strengthen public service awareness,improve the international travel health consultation service mechanism,and strengthen cooperation with various ports and local medical systems.Enhance market competitiveness,actively expand social health inspection business,improve quality management system,and strengthen risk management.Through these measures,it is hoped that the potential of thehealth center will be stimulated,the vitality of the health center will be improved,and the sustainable development of the institution will be promoted.
