The Causes And Handling Of Medical Disputes In Kunming

With the rapid development and increasing changes of modern society,medical fields are being developed quickly as well.However,the fast medical development does not result in decreased medical disputes.To be simply put,the number of medical disputes tends to be large.Even worse,it becomes common for patients or their families to smash the hospital or even hurt the medical staff,making medical disputes hot issues in daily life.The whole society is aspiring to seek measures to deal with medical disputes quickly and fairly,maintain social harmony and stability,provide guarantee for both doctors and patients,and promote the sound and rapid development of medical services,which our research mainly focuses on.The paper conducts research based on causes,characteristics,effects and other aspects of "medical disputes." The paper is divided into six parts.In the first part,namely introduction,the basis and significance of the selected topic are analyzed,and the main content frame and the purpose and method of the research are illustrated.In the second part,the theoretical basis related to this paper is mainly introduced,including the concept of medical disputes and related theories.In the third part,the related data of medical disputes in five representative hospitals at Kunming city is analyzed,based on which the causes and characteristics of medical disputes are generalized.Next,the influence of medical disputes to patients,on medical institutions and the society are sorted out and amplified.The analysis from such perspective reveals that reducing medical disputes is of important practical significance to harmonious and sound development of society.In the fourth part,the causes of medical disputes at Kunming city are analyzed from four aspects,namely patients,hospitals,the government and other aspects,according to which relevant insights to reduce medical disputes are gained.In the fifth part,current policies and documents related to medical disputes at Kunming city are analyzed,and existing problems of medical disputes and measures to deal with them are collected and generalized,which lays the foundation for reducing medical disputes and finding a proper way of mediation.In the sixth part,countermeasures to solve medical disputes are discussed.Specifically,the government should increase its financial investment,promote the reform of health services,and strengthen legal guarantee,supervision and its leading role;the hospital should enhance the cultivation of vocational quality,establish harmonious doctor-patient relationship,strengthen the communication ability of medical personnel,and set up and improve the intervention system of medical disputes;and the third party should promote alternative dispute resolution mechanism and correctly guide public opinions.
