Objective: Since the development of soft tennis in China for 30 years, our competitive soft tennis has achieved rapid development and made great progress. We have achieved good sports scores including the Asian Games Women’s Singles Championship, get the positive response of civil society, and gradually promoted in colleges and universities. The characteristics of soft tennis which have a lot of running and jumping action, long reentry distances, covering a wide range of venues, and having more emergency stop and sharp move movements determine that soft tennis players have frequent knee joint activities and heavy loads in the training and competitions.Long-term exercise training can easily cause knee joint strains, and the patellar tendon terminal disease is more common. The main symptoms of anterior knee pain, jumping pain, force pain,up and down staircase pain, weak legs, even walking pain. The patient can have a lengthening of the patellar apex, and the four-head muscle atrophy can occur in the patients with a history of disease. The pain points can occur at the tip of the patellar tip and the attachment point of the patellar tendon. At present, the treatment of this disease is generally used conservative methods, but generally, there is no effective treatment for the patellar tendon terminal disease, and the course of the disease is long.If the treatment is not taken, most of the patients will not recover, which seriously affects sports life.In this study,we reviewed the related literature, combined with the two advantages of manual therapy and physical rehabilitation training,so as to get a convenient and effective rehabilitation method for patellar tendon disease. Methods: the national soft tennis team with patellar tendinopathy of the 18 athletes a total of 30 cases of knee as the research object. The randomized controlled experimental method was used to group the group,of which 15 cases entered the manipulative treatment group and 15 cases in physical rehabilitation training groups. The pain sensation, thigh circumference and muscle strength of patella tendons after 3 weeks,6 weeks and 9 weeks were observed by two methods, and the therapeutic effects of two ways on patellar tendinopathy were discussed. Results: the VISA-P knee function score, thigh circumference and muscle strength were used to evaluate the therapeutic effects of manual therapy and physical rehabilitation training on Athletes’ patellar tendinopathy. The three indexes were evaluated. Before and after treatment, the indexes were evaluated as follows: VISA-P score changes: the physical rehabilitation training group increased less, and the manipulation group increased rapidly and obviously. The change of the thigh circumference: there was a slight increase in the later stage of the treatment group, and the physical fitness training group increased obviously.Muscle strength changes in the thigh: in the later period, there was a slight increase in the manipulative treatment group, and the physical rehabilitation training increased significantly. The ratio of flexor and extensor muscle :there was slower in the late treatment group, and decreased significantly in the physical rehabilitation training group. The ratio of flexor and extensor muscle changes: the manual treatment group slowly decreased in the later period, and the physical rehabilitation training group significantly decreased. Conclusion: Physical rehabilitation training is most effective in increasing the circumference of affected thighs, improving muscle strength and coordination, and manipulation is the most effective in reducing pain.According to the difference in the main symptoms of patients, choose a different program, you can also combine the two.
