Chinese cabbage is a main vegetable widely grown in most areas of China.With the increase in market demand and the growth of cabbage planting area,the traditional manual harvesting method has high labor intensity and low mechanization,and can no longer meet the development needs of the new era.In order to reduce the labor intensity and improve the degree of mechanization of cabbage harvesting,this paper starts from investigating the agronomy of cabbage planting and the appearance characteristics of cabbage,and combines the manual harvesting method to determine the technical route of mechanized harvesting of cabbage.Based on the analysis of relevant research,the design and research of the cabbage harvester were carried out.The research content and relevant conclusions are as follows:(1)The technical route of the cabbage harvest and the overall plan of the double-row cabbage harvester were determined.By investigating the agronomic and shape parameters of Chinese cabbage,it was determined to use the first extraction and then cutting root transmission,and then complete the technical route of mechanized harvesting to enhance transshipment and loading.The overall design of the cabbage harvester that can achieve double-row harvesting was designed.(2)The cutting root transmission components were designed and the key device parameters were determined.A double V-shaped belt clamping transmission device,a disc sawtooth cutting blade root cutting device,a drawing blade and a profiled ground wheel were designed,and a mechanical model of the double V-shaped belt clamping transmission device was established.Through ANSYS / LS-DYNA,a simulation test of the factors affecting the root cutting force was designed.It was concluded that the cutting force of cabbage root was related to the cutting speed of disc saw blades,the advancing speed of the root,the slip angle during cutting and the inclination of the cutter.Through the 4-factor 3-level orthogonal test,the combination of factors when the cutting force was minimum was obtained.(3)The lifting parts were designed and the key parameters components were determined.The frame,lifting basket and lifting chain device are designed to complete the parts selection.The spacing conditions of the baskets without interference between the lifting baskets and the speed of the lifting chain when there is no backlog of cabbage on the lifting chain were determined,and the mechanical model of the lifting chain device was established.A test of lifting components was conducted.(4)A field test of root-cutting transmission components was carried out.The results showed that when the rotation speed of the disc saw blade was 270-280 r / min and the transmission speed of the double V-belt clamping was 0.9-1.0m / s,the speed of the clamping transmission device and the root cutting device were reasonably matched,and the clamping transmission function was normal.The root-cutting device met the design function requirements,and the harvesting speed was 1.2s / tree.
