Cutting tool is one of the most important part for the vehicle-carrying Pruning Machine. The durability and stability of the cutter can directly affect the cutting quality and efficiency. At the same time, it can also affect the growth status of the pruned hedge plant and play a key role in the safe working. The rapid development of computer simulation technology provides a powerful tool for further research the sawing process, which is not only beneficial to the understanding of the cutting principle, but also to the obtaining of related parameters, can obtain information that many experimental methods cannot get.The thesis which based on the rotary cutting assembly that created by our research group, analyzing the process of each Circular saw cutting branches. Study the dynamic numerical simulation of the cutting process of the circular saw by using the ANSYS/LS-DYNA. With a lot of groping and summary for modeling, meshing, loading and solving process on the basis of the master software applications and consulting a large number of research materials, finally realize the simulation of the cutting process of the circular saw. The simulation results are showing through the animation and curves. The results are similar to the actual process.It is indicating that the reasonable of the finite element type material model and parameter, by comparing analysis the simulation results and experiment testing results. Based on the above mentioned, in the paper mainly focus on the sawing simulation under different cutting speed, different diameter branches, and different arrangement of branches. The stress nephogram and sawing force under different working condition are obtained. According to the simulation results, the affect law of the saw cutting force under different cutting speed, feed rate, diameter of the branches and different branches of the arrangement is obtained. It is possible to predict the possible value range of the critical cutting speed in certain cutting conditions; The failure forms and causes of circular saw in process of hedge-punning are analyzed.Topology optimization in ANASYS was utilized to optimize the circular saw blade in order to provided theoretical guidance for open damping hole in circular saw and have less effect to circular saw. The improper opening for the substrate had been restricted to keep the integrated stiffness from fluctuating, which stabilized the performance of the saw and reduced vibration.
