With the continuous development of information technology,video display terminal(VDT),as an important information display interface in modern office environment,has formed an inseparable cooperative relationship with office staff.Unhealthy lighting in office environments and bad work habits of VDT workers have led to more and more office workers suffering from VDT syndrome.Based on the visual comfort of VDT staff,this dissertation proposed an evaluation method of visual comfort based on the change of pupil diameter,established the fuzzy relationship between relative variation of pupil diameter and lighting control signal,and built a set of lighting control system based on visual comfort.The main work contents were as follows:Firstly,the research on visual comfort was summarized and analyzed,and the relationship between pupil diameter and visual comfort was studied through the experimental design.During the study,the VDT office luminous environment was simulated by combining three lighting environments and five VDT brightness.Pupil data collection and subjective evaluation of visual comfort were conducted on 10 subjects in this simulation environment,a total of 150 groups,and the experimental data were analyzed by statistical analysis.Within a certain range of illumination,the relative variation of pupil diameter under different visual comfort with respect to pupil diameter under visual comfort was gained,and a visual comfort valuation method based on pupil diameter changes was obtained.Secondly,based on the above results,the relative variation of pupil diameter under different visual comfort with respect to the pupil diameter under visual comfort was blurred.According to the influence of light environment on visual comfort,a fuzzy controller that took the relative variation change of pupil diameter as input and the change amount ΔPWM of the brightness adjustment signal of the LED as the output.Fuzzy controller provided a control strategy for the subsequent adaptive lighting control system.Finally,the relative variation of pupil diameter was calculated by using the Adaboost human eye detection algorithm based on Haar-like features,the trained U-net human eye pupil and iris segmentation model.On this basis,an adaptive lighting control system based on visual comfort was built with STM32 as the main control board.At the same time,the software interface of the host computer was designed and written,the entire control system was also tested and analyzed.This work is important and valuable for the establishment of VDT health evaluation standards and the design of a healthy light environments.
