As a treasure of Chinese culture,ceramic art shows its unique charm in every stage of the history of Chinese civilization.It is not only a functional material product,but also a carrier of many elements such as spirit,politics,culture,etc.It bears a profound feeling of traditional culture in the daily life of Chinese people.In the contemporary era,as the loss of cultural belonging caused by global assimilation gradually deepens,the distinctive cultural symbols of traditional ceramic art have become a direct manifestation of national belonging.Therefore,it is the proposition of contemporary living space ceramic design based on traditional cultural vision.Due to the improvement of people's spiritual quality of life,the demand for ceramic furnishings and ceramic paving has gradually separated from the traditional works of art and developed into decorative ceramic elements that are widely used in contemporary living environments.How to integrate�traditional ceramic art� into contemporary living space and enhance the core value of �national culture�has become an important issue in the design of living space in China in the new period.Therefore,the thesis takes �traditional culture� as the starting point,by exploring the relationship between traditional ceramic decoration and contemporary living space,and analyzing the inheritance and development of Chinese traditional ceramics in the new era,in order to seek the �new ceramic decoration�of contemporary living space with traditional characteristics The design method is to build a traditional residential art ceramic decoration application design research based on the �traditional ceramic art� as the main line,based on the spiritual needs of contemporary living space,and aiming to highlight the national,regional and era characteristics.The thesis is based on the historical changes and development of traditional ceramic decorative arts in living spaces;the application and expression of traditional ceramic decorative arts in contemporary living spaces;three chapters on the design methods and practices of traditional ceramic decorative arts in contemporary living spaces.Implementation of the ceramic decoration design of contemporary living space from the perspective.Through sorting out the traditional ceramic culture,it is found that there is a connection between the traditional ceramic culture and the traditional residential culture,and strives to renew the new value of life for the �ceramic� culture and provide reference for the ceramic furnishings and pavement design of the future urban living space Theoretical basis and designmethod.
