At present,China is experiencing unprecedented high-speed development.In the context of adjustment of rural resource allocation,traditional villages are faced with many difficulties and ecological crises.Large-scale social changes lead to the need to reorganize and interpret our relationship with the environment.Among them,the public space of traditional villages is the carrier of villagers’ daily life and public activities,as well as theplace to maintain the collective memory and traditional culture of villages.Therefore,based on the current situation and problems of traditional village public space,this paper attempts to construct a methodology from the perspective of space art.The author believes that the phenomenon of cell decay in traditional villages needs to absorb nutrients from "old cells" like biological metabolism and continue its genes,so as tochange them at the level of life.It is not necessary to rebuild at a large scale,but to insertsome cultural elements and spatial units at a small scale,so as to effectively and gradually update the living conditions of villagers,activate the relationship between people and space,and complement each other with the village environment to give life to each other.Through the study of relevant theories and cases,it is found that "small buildings" withhumanized,artistic and fuzzy interface play a more powerful role in the construction of natural environment and villages with a humble and integrated attitude,which can connect people,space-time and nature outside the village gently.So this article from thetraditional village "small architecture" structure,the function of social value and constructthe logical point of view,combining with related theory and personal creation to summarize construction strategy,put forward should base on the present,and study to the traditional,start from two dimensions of physical space and characterization space can construct a series "time space one society and the natural way " "small architecture",inan effort to protect the traditional village landscape under the premise of looking forexcitation energy,improve the village village public space environment of effective path.
