Steel arch installation machine is a kind of engineering vehicle which applied to install steel arch and support weak surrounding rock in tunnel construction.Compared with traditional manual installation that it can not only substantially improve the construction efficiency,accuracy and safety,but also reduce the number of workers and labor intensity.With the rapid development of railway and highway construction,the steel arch installer will enormously enhance the mechanization level of tunnel construction.However,the overturning accident will cause a huge loss of life and property due to the harsh working conditions,so it is necessary to investigate the working stability of the steel arch installation vehicle.GJAZ-12 Ltire typed steel arch installation vehicle of two-arm and one-basket is taken as the research object,and many kinds of typical dangerous working conditions are formulated on this paper.According to the national standards,four major sections of the working stability analysis and rollover protection are carried out: Firstly,a three-dimensional modeling of the entire machine is established through Creo software,and the mass and center position of gravity of each parts are measured through the function of mass characteristic analysis in order to lays the foundation for the operating stability analysis;Secondly,the method of stability coefficient is measured to analyze the load of mechanical arm and working platform assembly and to determine the stability and tipping moment of force,then the static operating stability of the steel arch installation vehicle is calculated and analyzed by the MATLAB software;Thirdly,virtual prototype is built by ADAMS to simulate the movement process of manipulator and platform assembly during working operation.Based on the measurement of the reaction force of the outrigger on the ground,the dynamic operating stability of the whole machine affected by the dynamic load is simulated under different dangerous working conditions;At last,in order to reduce the leveling error and hydraulic cylinder force at the leveling system of the manned working platform,multi-objective genetic algorithm is adopted to optimize the hinge points of the master and driven leveling cylinders,so as to ensure the level of the manned platform in the process of taking off and landing,and to prevent the operators from dumping.Through the investigation on the operating stability of the two-arm and one-basket steel arch installation vehicle,not only the stability characteristics of the machine are obtained under various working conditions,but also a reference for the operating stability analysis of multi-arms structure engineering vehicle is provided,which effectively prevents the overturning situations.
