The traditional dwellings update design shoulders the important task of inheriting its historical context.Using the method of update design from the perspective of intertextuality to transmit the "cultural text" is a method of update design from the perspective of literature research.It is the innovation of this paper.The purpose is to break the barriers between traditional dwellings culture and better inherit the historical context in the architectural space prototype.First of all,from the phenomenon of intertextuality in the update design of traditional dwellings,this paper summarizes the methods of update design from the perspective of intertextuality,then uses the cases of update design of traditional dwellings to illustrate,and puts forward the suitable design principles and design strategies,forms the methodology,and finally applies the content of the methodology to the experiment of update design.The site of the update design experiment is the space prototype of the traditional dwellings in Qiqiao village.The design experiment starts from the four aspects of the scale,construction,materials and decoration of the dwellings.Combined with the methods summarized above,aiming at the design purpose and design principles,on the basis of sufficient research work,it deeply understands the needs of local users and the needs of cultural expression,and makes use of the plan The collaborative work of computer modeling software completes the experiment of update design,so as to achieve the purpose of inheriting the historical context of local traditional dwellings.
