Abstract/Summary:
With the rapid development of the chemical industry,highly accurate measurement of liquid level is required in industrial production.The ultrasonic liquid level meter has stable performance and is easy to use,and toxic or corrosive liquids in some containers and tanks cannot easily measure the liquid level.Ultrasonic ranging technology can be used to conveniently and accurately complete the measurement.The ultrasonic liquid level meter solves the problems of high maintenance cost and difficult maintenance when the contact liquid level meter measures corrosive liquids.Compared with radar liquid level gauge,laser liquid level gauge,infrared liquid level gauge,and ultrasonic liquid level gauge,it has lower production cost and relatively high precision,which is of great significance for the actual production of liquid level measurement.Based on the ultrasonic ranging technology and principle,an ultrasonic liquid level meter is designed by the pulse echo time difference method.The ultrasonic liquid level meter is composed of an ultrasonic transmitting,receiving module,control module,communication module,broadcasting module.The measurement scheme selects the method of the time difference between two pulse echoes,which solves the problem of increased calculation error due to the instability of the measurement point and the liquid level.A temperature compensation algorithm is added when calculating the liquid level height,which can calculate the sound velocity of ultrasonic waves at different ambient temperatures in real time,and the residual wave control circuit and booster circuit are designed in the ultrasonic wave transmission module to improve the return The quality of the waves makes the measurement results more accurate.Through the debugging of the ultrasonic transceiver module,an experimental environment is built indoors.The actual measurement of different liquids is carried out in three temperature environments,and the error is controlled within 4%,To achieve the goal of portable non-contact liquid level measurement.
