In industrial production, the level is an important measurement parameters, chemical,oil, sewage treatment plants and other types of enterprises should measure liquid level.The issue stems come from Xuan Cheng Hua Li Chemical Co., Ltd. automationrenovation project, To modify sewage tank level measurement is designed to improve thewhole level of automation. In the transformation, we abandoned the ruler of directmeasurement method, and then converted to a more convenient and intelligent levelmeter. According to the factory measurement of large sewage tank, this paper developedan easy to install and use, accurate measurement, intelligent management, and low-costlevel measurement meter.In this paper, dealing with Xuan Cheng Hua Li Chemical Co., Ltd.ˊs levelmeasurement problems of sewage tank, in-depth discusses the using of ultrasonic as asignal source level measurement feasibility and superiority, discusses the various causesof error, and put forward the corresponding solutions. Ultrasonic level meter based onsingle-chip microcontroller in order to minimal IAP15F2K61S2system as the core, withtransit-time ultrasonic distance measurement principle as the theoretical basis, usingultrasound as a measuring signal of the sewage tank liquid level height for automatictesting and data processing, to reduce the measurement in the process of manualintervention and facilitate the operator’s real-time monitoring of the liquid level, andselect RS485communication with PC,save the relevant data, in order to manage andmonitor the liquid level of sewage tank better.For the past, due to the presence of ultrasonic level meter errors in the measurementof ultrasonic velocity, resulting level meter accuracy is not high. This theme on hardwareto increase temperature and humidity measurement module, at the same time,considering the influence of temperature and humidity on the speed of sound. Using BPnetwork can calibrate real-time of sound velocity, cost savings, and make moreconvenient for maintenance and installation.Depending on BP Network, computer technique and the principle measuringdistance by ultrasonic, it is more economical, more cheaper and more exact. After all, it isworth to extend.
