| Shiyang Town is located in the northwest of Dayao County,Chuxiong Prefecture,Yunnan.Since the mining of the salt industry in the Han Dynasty,the ancient town has once become a major transportation hub for salt production and salt transportation in the central Yunnan region.During the Ming and Qing dynasties,the salt economy of the ancient town was in its heyday.The domestic infrastructure such as waterways,streets,and bridges gradually improved,laying an important foundation for the development of today’s town structure.This article takes the "spatial layout of Shiyang Town in the Ming and Qing Dynasties" as the research object,uses field surveys as a basis,and uses the method of overlapping ancient and modern city sites,referring to the literature and map data of the Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China,gradually sorting out the Ming and Qing Dynasties The spatial pattern of Shiyang Town is to restore the defense facilities,streets and lane systems,and the town’s construction,etc.,and draw a basic diagram.At the same time,the causes of the changes in the spatial layout of ancient towns during the Ming and Qing Dynasties were analyzed,and the key factors affecting the formation of the characteristics of the pattern of ancient towns were discussed.Based on this,compared with other salt industry cities and towns in Yunnan,and then explore the general law of its development.The article is divided into five parts.This article briefly introduces the geographical environment,salt mine resources,town transportation,and construction history of Shiyang Town.Based on the spatial distribution characteristics,combining literature and field surveys,the existing historical sites in the town include rivers,streets,historical buildings,The development history and preservation status of ancient salt wells are gradually combed.On this basis,the spatial layout of Shiyang Town in the Ming and Qing Dynasties was further restored.The research methods of ancient and modern overlapping city sites were mainly used,combining the literature and field investigations.Each building in the town was restored layer by layer,and based on the results of Chapter 3 restoration,the reasons for the formation of the ancient town’s spatial functional zoning and the transformation of the core area were analyzed.On the basis of restoration,the differences between Shiyang Town and Yunnan Salt Industry Towns are compared horizontally and vertically,and the reasons are analyzed to summarize the development law of traditional salt towns in Yunnan.From the Ming Hongwu year to the early Qing Dynasty,the salt industry in Shiyang Town steadily increased,and the basic pattern of the town has been formed.From the early Qing Dynasty to the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty,the development of the salt industry was in its heyday.The development of the salt industry economy gradually brought about the improvement of various types of facilities in the town,enriched the connotation of the ancient town’s spatial pattern,and eventually made Shiyang Town a comprehensive commercial city town.From the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty to the end of the Guangxu period,the disadvantages of the economic operation system became increasingly prominent,the construction function of some parts of the town was weakened,and the spatial form was adjusted accordingly.From Ming to Qing,the spatial layout of the ancient town was basically in a relatively stable state,and most of the constructions in the town were used.Gradually,small functional gathering areas centered on each of Wuyanjing District were gradually formed,and the core area of the lift office was strengthened status. |
