With the development of economy and culture,people's requirements for public space and public art have gradually deepened,requiring public art to meet spatial positioning while also giving people spiritual satisfaction.This requires that public art fit the positioning of space and have a comprehensive memory of regional and humanistic features.Chinese ceramic murals have been used in space from the portrait bricks of the Warring States period to the Kowloon wall of the Qing Dynasty.Therefore,modern ceramic murals have acquired historical and cultural memories from materials and forms.Nowadays,Chinese urban buildings are dense,and the space for the development of ceramic murals attached to them has greatly increased.Urban functional areas are increasingly detailed,and ceramic murals consciously create links with the audience through their own memory.This article is mainly based on the analysis of the material characteristics of pottery,the concept of memory and the case of ceramic murals in public space;Taking the graduation creation "Canting D" as an example,the author analyzes its extensive and personal memory in public space from three aspects: content,form,and color.Memory is reflected in the content of creation from the perspective of history,space culture,and perceptual thinking;Formally,through the inheritance of memory like Chinese ceramic murals and the combination of public space,the expression of subjective forms is reflected;In the creation of color through the refinement of regional characteristics,sense of spatial spirit and personalized color reproduction expression.The purpose of this study is to combine the form and expression of memory with ceramic mural materials,and try to explore the memory of ceramic frescoes.
