With the advancement of the new urban and rural construction in China,the design of modern garden pavement has been fundamentally changed due to the urban scale,infrastructure construction and the improvement of science and technology.Traditional garden paving materials such as natural stone,cement,traditional concrete and so on,although seemingly beautiful and durable but poor permeability,has not been able to meet the current people's urgent needs for the ecological environment.In recent years,urban waterlogging,drainage difficulties,small rain water accumulation,heavy rain internal collapse and other environmental problems are increasing,the analysis of these problems found that the traditional pavement material is almost impervious to water is one of the main reasons for this series of environmental damage.In this paper,through massive access to data,to understand the research and application of permeable paving materials at home and abroad,in view of the different characteristics of traditional paving materials and permeable paving materials,taking the paving design of Shanbanqiao park in Chengdu city as an example,the application principles of garden paving materials in China's new urban and rural construction are proposed.Choose permeable pavement material according to local conditions,not only to meet the design aesthetic,but also according to the different characteristics of permeable pavement material targeted application to the suitable garden landscape space,not only to meet the needs of different road conditions,and the road level.In order to promote the application of ecological permeable paving materials in similar garden engineering.
