In the face of the shortage of natural resources and the increasingly serious environmental pollution in modern society, the international community and countries around the world concern about the issue of sustainable development currently. In the 21st century, human society is exposed to the depletion of resources and serious environmental pollution.Based on the profoundly reflection on the development path that has been taken, human society recognizes the significance of changing the traditional development model and taking the road of sustainable development.Energy supports the development of the national economy. It is also important for people's lives. With the development of the economy and the improvement of people's living standards, the demand for energy will also increase substantially, especially for power resources. The power industry is the forerunner of the national economy and a symbol of modern social life.In the 21st century,China's energy industry development has become more and more environmentally binding. The focus of energy policy is to promote the expansion of energy supplies and optimize energy structure and vigorously develop clean energy and new energy.Equal emphasis on energy development and conservation, prioritize conservation, and promote efficient and efficient use of energy resources. In order to adapt to the new energy policy requirements,as a power industry that consumes a large amount of resources and seriously pollutes the environment, especially coal-fired power generation enterprises, how to closely integrate the national development strategy and the actual situation of thermal power enterprises, and carry out research on improving the capacity of green management system construction and transportation still remains unfinished. There is still a lot of work worth doing to save resources and protect the environment.Enterprise green management is a management concept or model that takes into account ecological interests and corporate interests. It is guided by the idea of sustainable development and based on the premise that the impact of the production process on the ecological environment and to control pollution from all aspects of the operation is reduced or eliminated.the coordination of economic, social and ecological benefits, the whole process, all staff, comprehensive management activities is achieved by saving resources, through production, marketing, etc. In this paper, the concept of green management and related theoretical basis was introduced.the research of green management theory and the practice of green management of high energy-consuming enterprises by domestic and foreign scholars were reviewed. Then a thermal power plant was chosen as the main body of case analysis to explain the implementation of green management in thermal power plants. The necessity, concept and implementation of the project were stated. Finally the green ultra-low emission environmental protection project was selected as a case study, the implementation background, technical feasibility, economic feasibility, organizational structure responsibility and related regulation.project green management implementation and project implementation benefits were studied. The highlights and deficiencies of the green management of the whole process of the project were analysed and corresponding solutions based on the knowledge of management knowledge were proposed to improve the green management level of JR power plants and form a set of applicable green management process for the thermal power enterprise's technological transformation project. It plays an important role in guiding and referring to similar enterprises in implementing similar technological transformation projects.
