Metaphorical Research In The Narrative Landscape

The development of the times has expanded people's demand of life with each passing day.The landscape architecture design that only emphasizes function and visual effects as well as the process of passively perceiving space can no longer meet the requirements of the presenters.People's cognition of beauty is deepening and progressing,which changed from the attention of external physical form to the perception of the self and soul.Landscape bears human's appeal for emotion and culture,which provides theoretical support for the intervention of narratology which describes human emotions and experiences.Introducing the concept of narrative into the landscape field is one of the results of the current demands for cultural heritage and emotional experience.Integrating historical and cultural emotions into narrative texts and establishing a spiritual connection between spaces and experiencers has become an inevitable trend in development of landscape architecture design.From the perspective of semiotics,this paper analyzes and combs related theories such as places and images,and then focuses on the metaphor in the category of landscape narrative.Firstly,the theory of landscape narrative is analyzed and discussed.On this basis,the theoretical basis for guiding metaphorical research in narrative landscape design is summarized.Secondly,through the study of classical narrative landscape cases,A summary of the various situations of metaphor can be made.Thirdly,interpret the process of metaphor in landscape narrative,analyze the transferring process as a specific design method and try to find the way of it's realization.
