Research On The Design Of Architectural Space Light Environment From The Perspective Of Place Theory

Since ancient times,light environment has been an indispensable part of architectural space,a link between human,architecture and nature,and plays an important role in the development history of human architecture.With the development of society and the progress of science and technology,people are not only satisfied with the function of light environment in architectural space,but also pay more attention to the artistic expression and the resonance of soul and emotion.This paper is based on the theory of place to explore the light environment of architectural space.Firstly,it interprets the conceptual relationship between the place theory and the light environment,and through the analysis of the dialectical relationship between the place and the light and the film,as well as a large number of design cases,finally forms the light environment design ideas based on the place theory.It is mainly divided into the following four chapters:The first section of the first chapter is an overview of the theory of place under phenomenology.The concept of place was put forward by Norberg Schultz based on the theoretical study of phenomenology.Therefore,only through a comprehensive analysis and study of phenomenology,architectural phenomenology and place theory can we truly grasp the essence and connotation of place theory.The second section is an overview of the light environment.Light environment is the soul of architecture.We understand and grasp the characteristics of light in order to use these optical principles in building space to create a light environment more conducive to people's visual perception.The ingenious use of light and shadow in architecture embodies the architectural philosophy of the integration of technology and art.The second chapter is an important part of this paper,which is the elaboration of the activation of the place by the light environment.Firstly,it interprets the relationship between the light environment and the building place.Then it discusses how the light environment improves the visual experience of the place from four negative aspects: the strengthening of the light and shadow to the place center,the guidance of the place direction,the definition of the place field and the expression of the place spirit.Light,shadow and place are complementary and unity of opposites.The third chapter is the core part of this paper.First,the light environment in excellent design cases is analyzed and compared.It is concluded that light and shadow can not only express objective existence,but also express subjective feelings.After further combing and exploring,combined with the theory of place,the paper puts forward new ideas to solve the problem from the visual and perceptual levels.In the fourth chapter,through the above design ideas,I carried out my own conceptual design.In the end,the author hopes to get a design idea of building light environment from the perspective of place theory,which has a certain guiding significance for his future design practice.
