Light And Shadow Research In Architecture Designunder The Perspective Of Place Theory

Historically,domestic and foreign architects have been focusing on the application of light and shadow to performance the charm of the building. From helping people realize space to providing people with poetic place, light and shadow have been play an important role in the building.From the perspective of place theory, this paper makes great effort to carry out the discussion and research on light and shadow by means of space construction, to dig deeper into the internal relations between light and shadow and architectural place.Firstly, through comprehensive combing, analyzing and summarizing of the light and shadow in the architecture and the place theory, this paper results in a systematic theoretical framework;Then analyzed by a large number of instances,the system framework for verification and further interpretation;Eventually establishes a kind of light and shadow design ideas based on the concept of place theory.From the large structural relationship, this paper can be broadly divided into three parts.The first part, ask questions.The lighting design of the architecture design is often bland or chaotic,which is difficult to form a sense of place.The second part, analysis problems.Through in-depth analytic construction of light and shadow in building, the double performance light and shadow performance of performance of material existence and expression of mental experience is obtained; Through in-depth analysis of places-phenomenology, it is concluded that the existence and perception constitution two layers of place.After a comprehensive analysis and comparison, light and shadow and space in the material and spiritual, can carry on the corresponding and combination of both.Then for clues to the hierarchy of place,analysis the role and texture of light and shadow in the presence of a single place, transition place, the whole place(small- medium- large) from the two aspects, and thus established the framework of the article.The third part, to solve the problem.On the basis of the theoretical framework, combined with case analysis, the content of the framework is further interpreted.The third chapter mainly studies light and shadow on the performance of a single place, the first study light and shadow on the premises of the creation of the three elements of place from the aspect of objective existence, and then combined with in-depth examples of analysis, to see how a single place is rising by the existence to perception under the effect of light and shadow. In the fourth chapter,the author studies light and shadow on the transition performance of adjacent places, based on the light and shadow in the shaping of transition elements, to explore the perception contrast and changes exhibiting by light and shadow in adjacent places. The fifth chapter researches the construction of light and shadow on the order of the whole place from an overall perspective and for depth interpretation of light and shadow and order from the perspectives of spatial sequence, narrative space, time and space combined.etc.Finally,based on the place theory,the paper is expected to establish an overall analysis method of light and shadow and operable lighting design strategy, provide the theory of contemporary architecture and future creative practice of some reference and reference.
