Abstract/Summary:
Projectile launching missile can improve the comprehensive performance of the weapon system. As a kind of launch technology, electromagnetic coil catapult has its unique advantages, but also there are many technical difficulties. The electromagnetic coil catapults in launching a heavy load, there are main technical difficulties such as high current and high mechanical stress and strong magnetic field. In order to promote its application in engineering it is necessary to study the scheme. In this paper, with 300mm missile as the background, the following research was carried out:(1)According to the technical index, designed the electromagnetic launcher scheme. It includes the electromagnetic coil ejection scheme, the magnetic configuration optimization scheme and the feed circuit scheme.(2)In order to find out the parameters influence on the emission efficiency and lay the foundation for parameter selection and optimization of catapult system.Simulation analysis on the characteristic of the catapult components parameters was carded out by using the Maxwell 2D.(3)Obtained the optimal parameters of the catapult system by orthogonal test. Then, created a simulation model of the catapult system according to the parameters and obtained the force curve and velocity curve by simulation.(4)Designed the catapult structure according to the optimized parameters, including drive coil, sabot, buffer mechanism and the whole structure, and established three-dimensional model of the structures by SolidWorks. The results show that, without increasing the series of driving coil, the scheme can effectively reduce the influence of discharge current, mechanical stress and strong magnetic field, improve the emission efficiency, and is more easily realized in structure, which has a certain reference value for engineering practice.
